    Hi chas0rde,

    Points one and two are ideal for a Squeezebox System with one Pi running the Squeezebox Server. It lets all players be controlled with one interface over the network from any browser or app and also supports synchronous and individual streams.

    For the RCA output to your external Amp’s, a DAC HAT with the Raspberry Pi would be the best solution, especially in regards to sound quality.

    However, there have been a few people who managed to achieve getting several outputs split from a 7.1 USB DAC. This is not a solution that we officially endorse but it might help you along 😉

    Entschuldigt den abgebrochenen Satz im vorigen Post.

    Ja, gemeint war die Nutzung eines USB-Dongles für beständige Bluetooth Wiedergabe über 3 Stunden. Wir prüfen wie gesagt noch ein paar Optionen um das eingebaute Modul noch besser und fehlerfreier laufen zu lassen, aber die Probleme scheinen leider direkt an die Hardware geknüpft zu sein.

    Mit der DOSS Box konnten wir ähnlich wie mit dem JBL Go auch nur maximal 3 Stunden ununterbrochen wiedergeben, die Wiedergabe ist jedoch auch ein paar Mal bereits fürher abgebrochen, ähnlich wie von dir beschrieben.

    Dabei scheint es sich dann noch um eine Problematik mit dem Spotty Plugin selbst zu handeln. Dies wird aktuell aktiv entwickelt von MHerger im slimdevices forum:

    Wir werden dies nochmal prüfen, jedoch haben wir definitiv bereits mehr als 3 Streams gleichzeitig, sogar synchronisiert, ohne Probleme testen können.

    Unfortunately the XU4 images are not being developed any further, so the current state they are in is the only we can guarantee all features to work.

    Our XU4 OS is based on Ubuntu (Mate 16.04 for our latest) which might help you along.

    Leider ist der Power Button speziell für die Sabre V3 Karte gedacht. Der Anschluss des Bildschirms sollte jedoch auch mit anderen Soundkarten gehen.

    Wir bieten das Gehäuse nur mit Sabre V3 als Bundle an, da wir dort versichern können, dass alles passt und funktioniert.

    Bitte prüfe einmal, in welcher Formatierung die eMMC vorliegt. Dies ist ausschlaggebend, da zB eine Odroid U3 eMMC nicht ohne weiteres in einem XU4 läuft.

    Was genau hast du in der RaspDacDisplay.py angepasst? Ein anderer User konnte so das Problem beheben:

    Do you use the built-in BT module of the RPi3? If so, the low load you have on the system and or recent improvements to the BT plugin might let you play for over 3 hours despite just using built-in. Please let us know if you get the chance.

    Hi Nojelc,

    If the drive has no autonomous power supply, the Pi might not get enough power. However, this should not result in immediate hardware damage but rather just some dropouts.

    In any case, I am happy to hear your setup is working again. 🙂

    Hallo Frank,

    Welche Apps hast du bisher ausprobiert? Die Community präferiert OrangeSqueeze und iPeng für Android und iOS. Gratis gibt es Squeezer oder Squeeze Controller.

    Inwiefern findet eine Koppelung nicht statt? Der Zugriff auf das LMS wird verweigert?

    Funktioniert auf Browser auch Spotify oder gab es da auch Probleme?

    Sorry about the late reply.

    You need to download a fresh image as the Stretch one is completely new from the ground up. We included a new Kodi version, made new solutions for Access Point, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.

    It seems something is faulty in your system. Please first try burning a fresh image to rule out the previous install as a source of error.

    Hi guys,

    You both have very specific setups so I will just on a normal Pi3 to make sure the error is not reproducible there.

    For now, please try making a beta update, reinstalling Spotify Connect and playing something back.

    Edit: Do both of you have the error „illegal instruction“? Also, is that all that shows up when clicking more in the error message?

    Hi Dan,

    Max2Play is intended to be controlled from its web interface. The HDMI output does not offer any features beside Kodi and Jivelite.

    Use a smartphone or other to connect to the web interface under „max2play/“ in your browser.

    You can deactivate the build-in audio in Raspberry Settings and need to do that if you are using Kodi for output.
