Hi Calidigy,
The screenshots from our website on Jivelite are from different skins. So you can cycle through the available ones under „Display“ and find the icon one (it should be HD 1080). Unfortunately, this skin will probably not display correctly on your touchscreen. We specifically modified the Joggler 7″ Skin for Touchscreen use, all others should have different resolutions.

After testing the RCA sockets and making sure the issue is always connected to the sound card (try selecting the Pi’s own audio jack), you can consider contacting the shop you got it from via email (if it’s us, use [email protected]) for further steps.

Thank you for the feedback. We will definitely consider the possibilities that this input option might have.
For now, you can already look at the WaveInput plugin that comes with our installation of the Squeezebox Server.
This plugin can manage streaming input to multiple Squeeze players, like our Squeezelite.

We recommend running the LMS on a RPi3 or RPi2, to make sure it can handle any and all streams and files confidently.
However, this should not really produce interference noise. You could test another mode of playback (shairport or MPD) to make sure the issue is not related to LMS.

The fixed IP is something we do not necessarily recommend as a lot of parameters vary based on the network you have. But we hear your request and will look into possible improvements for future updates.
The read-only for LMS is currently not achievable as the LMS needs to constantly have write access to function properly.

Ein USB-Speicher oder Netzwerkspeicher für die LMS Dateien ist da wohl die idealste Lösung. Du kannst sogar dessen Datenbank-Pfad manuell in den LMS Einstellungen ändern 😉

I just want to reiterate the current status of Bluetooth for all new users and readers here:
– The Raspberry Pi 3 Bluetooth module can cause dropouts when the Pi has a high load (mostly occurs after ca. 3 hours of playback)
– A Bluetooth dongle solves this issue and lets you use a Bluetooth connection for non-stop playback via LMS or Max2Play Audio Player
(we sucessfully tested and recommend a Bluetooth V4.0 USB dongle)– This solution does not change individual’s Bluetooth speaker sleep mode. If you want to use it for 24/7 activity, make sure that it keeps itself paired.

Yes, the kernel version of our legacy images does still support it and we recommend using this version at the moment to run a Wolfson Cirrus Logic card. All Audio Players will work as well as all our main features.
I will look into this possible fix, thanks for pointing this out. If it works, we will include it in the next beta.

To get root rights, you need to log in as „su“ the password is „max2play“. You can also use „sudo“ to execute something as with root rights.

-o hw:CARD=IQaudIODAC -V Digital -Q). Please also try using different audio streams (online radio) for test playback.Furthermore, please try running a fresh image (you can easily make a back-up with Max2Play) and only selecting the sound card as your first step to make sure the problem is isolated. We will try to recreate it in our testers.

Unsere erfolgreichen Tests konnten wir alle mit dem Bluetooth Dongle aus unserem Shop machen LogiLink 4.0 Bluetooth Adapter.
Das gleichzeitige Nutzen mehrerer Bluetooth Streams ist leider aktuell nicht möglich. Du kannst die Lautsprecher jedoch definitiv bei spearaten Pi’s mit Bluetooth Dongle nutzen.
Wie gesagt haben wir bereits mehrere Tests mit unserem Dongle über 3 Stunden gemacht. Jedoch spielen wie bereits erwähnt bei Bluetooth immer mehrere Faktoren in die Wiedergabe-Qualität, sodass die Empfehlung immer ein eigener Test in eigener Systemumgebung wäre.

Entschuldige die Unannehmlichkeit. Ich hatte auch gehofft, das Thema früher schließen zu können 😉
Da wir hier nur 8, 16 und 32 GB eMMC’s für unsere damalige Odroid-Entwicklung genutzt hatten, können wir leider auch nicht ausschließen dass das Problem mit der Größe zusammenhängt. Du kannst jedoch noch ein normales Ubuntu Image von Odroid brennen, um die eMMC selbst als Fehlerquelle noch auszuschließen.
Falls noch nicht geschehen, könntest du außerdem den WinDiskImager von Odroid versuchen zu nutzen:

Please try adding hw:1 to your command line options. If this does not help, please remove it and deactivate build-in audio in the Raspberry Settings and select the HiFiBerry DAC+ driver instead.

You could ask pippin, the developer of iPeng, to include a shutdown button based on our HTTP command.
If you can use Jivelite, we implemented a shutdown button there on our own. You just have to make sure to use the Max2Play compiled version of Jivelite. Then, the main menus last items is a direct shutdown button executable with any USB periphery or 7″ touchscreen.

Yes it should. Please try selecting „none“ in the Allo Plugin, saving, rebooting, re-selecting BOSS DAC, saving and rebooting. Afterwards, please check again. Please also check the dropdown menu in Audio Player for Squeezelite. There should be another option than the ones you listed above.

Könntest du ggf. versuchen mit einem neuen Image (Back-Up vom alten erstellen) und erneut den Schritten im zuvor verlinkten Thread folgen?

Unfortunately, we shifted our development efforts from Odroid to Raspberry Pi some time ago.
All versions for Odroid are still fully functional, however, there are no updates planned for these Ubuntu-based operating systems.

Danke für das Interesse und das Feedback. Wir haben den ES9028Q2M noch nicht ausgiebig genug testen können, um eine genaue Aussage dahingehend zu treffen. Aktuell bieten wir diese Soundkarte daher auch nur als Einzelprodukt ohne Max2Play-Bundle Version an, auf Anfrage unserer Kunden.
Bei uns funktioniert die Wiedergabe aktuell noch über die Einbindung des I-Sabre V3 im audiophonics Plugin.
