Max2Play Home › Forums › Max2Play Development (Ideas, Wishes) › shutdown neatly
Hi , Iam new with Max2play, I use „LMS“ for quite some time on a Nas box.
I was not very satisfied with this solution .
Since a few day I.am running a raspberry pi 3 with max2play .
I use Ipeng on a Ipad to choose my music.
It runs very smooth. also with airplay and spotty activated ! great!
When i finish listening my music i like to shut down the pi in a neat way.
so not stressing the software.
i know about the browser way to shutdown
(http://max2play/plugins/max2play_settings/controller/Basic.php?action=shutdown)
but could there be a „software “ pi shutdown when i shutdown the server with Ipeng?
thx for your development of this music system.
Jan
Hi Jan,
You could ask pippin, the developer of iPeng, to include a shutdown button based on our HTTP command.
If you can use Jivelite, we implemented a shutdown button there on our own. You just have to make sure to use the Max2Play compiled version of Jivelite. Then, the main menus last items is a direct shutdown button executable with any USB periphery or 7″ touchscreen.
