    Hi Mike,

    Hi bjarne,
    Please try this command:
    volume_range_db=dBvalue;
Set this dBvalue to use just a portion of the full range of
attenuation offered by a mixer. For example, if a mixer has a
minimum volume of -80 dB and a maximum of +20 dB, you might wish
to use only 60 dB of the 100 dB available. This might be because
the sound becomes inaudible at the lowest setting and unbearably
loud at the highest setting — indeed, many domestic HiFi
systmes have a volume copntrol range of just 60 to 80dB. Another
potential use might be where the range specified by the mixer
does not match the capabilities of the device. For example, the
Raspberry Pi’s DAC that feeds the built-in audio jack claims a
range of 106 dB but has a useful range of only about 35dB. The
setting allows you to specify the maximum range from highest to
lowest. The range suggested for the Raspberry Pi’s built-in
audio DAC, which feeds the headphone jack, is 35. Using it in
this case gives the volume control a much more useful range of
settings. If you omit this setting, the full „native“ range of
    the mixer is used.

    20. Januar 2017 at 15:01 #26155

Jivelite is ideal, however, you do need a Squeezebox Server to host your music and the preinstalled player (the „max2play“ in your menu). You can install the server via the web interface (enter „max2play/“ in a browser on any other device in your network) under the menu „Squeezebox Server“. Select the version 7.9 nightly and let it install. You can then enter it via app, Jivelite, web interface or even AirPlay if you install the addon „shairtunes2“.

    Hi heinzel,
We made some bug fixes in the new version to the Bluetooth plugin. Please try updating to version 2.40

    Hallo Mike,
    Von HiFiBerry’s Produktseite:
The DAC+ Light is based on an ESS Sabre chip set that does not have ALSA volume control. To control the volume, you need to use an application with software volume control or a (pre-)amplifier with volume control.

    Hi drundanibel,
There is a feature to hide the cursor in the RPi Display menu. If you did not get a cursor at all, please try activating it and again removing it.

    18. Januar 2017 at 17:03 #26046

So it worked on the Pi3?

    18. Januar 2017 at 15:22 #26029

    Hi Segun,
Please check whether your filesystem is expanded and has enough space left (debug info window in the Settings/Reboot tab). Also, if you are able to connect via LAN, please try this out in order to rule out an instable WiFi connection as a source of error.

    18. Januar 2017 at 15:17 #26028

Please try out a different Pi if this is possible to rule out yours as the source of error.

    18. Januar 2017 at 15:12 #26027

Okay,Gotcha. Here are a few solutions detailed you could try to solve your issue: http://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/33037/how-to-add-delay-at-boot

Sure, we would love to assist to you in creating a custom Plugin for your solution! We would also appreciate you sharing the results once you have something working. Stefan did a video on how exactly you can create plugins using the Builder. If you encounter any major issues outside these guidelines, please share them in this topic and I will try to answer them as quickly as possible.

    Hi coworker23,
    Thanks for sharing your solution!

    Hallo Fuselx,

    Hi mattzee,
So sorry about the late response. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a fix to support these extremely high sample rates. However, if you find a fix that could be implemented, let us know and we will look into it.

    16. Januar 2017 at 17:07 #25969

    Hi ayodeji,
Please activate the USB max current feature in the Raspberry Settings. Also, which version of the SBS do you have installed? We always recommend using the 7.9 nightly.

    Hi ernst-jan,
Where do you try to change the volume? First of all, you can change to hardware volume control: https://www.max2play.com/wiki/optimizing-squeezelites-volume-control/
Otherwise, you should be able change the volume on the Squeezebox Server interface, or in the corresponding apps, or in Jivelite, etc.

    Hi airheader911,
The help section of the Filesystem/Mount menu is very helpful on that:
Mountpoint on Max2Play (for usage in Squeezebox Server or XBMC): /mnt/mountdir/ Mountpoint must be a subdirectory in /mnt/ OR /media/ and will be generated, if it is not existing.

    Hi JosepZ,
Sorry about the late response. The version of Kodi can be manually upgraded in the Kodi menu of the Max2Play web interface. Just copy and paste the repository you want to install from. With the update button, you can currently update via Max2Play to version 16.1

    Hallo Max,
Danke für das Teilen der Lösung!

    Hi um9kc,
The Speech Control Plugin is still in beta and it was developed for the Raspberry Pi. However, if you have any success or found out something new with the Odroid U3, please share your experiences.

    Hi xaver,

    Hi repuik,
Please try deactivating the autostart of Jivelite in its web interface menu.

    Hi apakett,
Please take a look at this topic: https://www.max2play.com/forums/topic/no-sound-or-interrupted-sound-when-streaming-form-own-apple-lossless-collection/
The parameter -e alac should help you out.

It would make sense to create individual shares for both. Otherwise, both are in the same directory.

    Hi steveplatto,
Please try following the same fix as airheader did here: https://www.max2play.com/forums/topic/another-synology-mounting-problem/#post-25800

    Hi mario and popper,
So sorry about the late response.

Mario: Please try selecting the USB DAC option since the soundbar’s DAC is in fact connected via USB. Also, what do you refer to with the script mode? You can change the mode of the SBS in the settings under „user interface“.

Popper72: Both your linked topics are still active, so will try to solve your issues there. Our installation of the LMS is pretty straightforward, you might also want to contact the slimdevices forums with specific issues with that software.

    Hi nickc,
Sorry about the late response. While we cannot offer you a simple button, the user nonchalant actually managed to find a solution for line-in support for the Cirrus Logic card: https://www.max2play.com/en/forums/topic/using-multiple-inputs-with-max2play-on-rpi2cirruslogic-sound-card-independently/
