    Hi Fred,
We are currently solving an issue with the Zero W which should also help solve yours. I will update you tomorrow.

For now, please try deactivating both BT and AP to make sure they are not the source of error.

    Hi Eddy and std,

Thanks for the advice, std. We are only familiar with the synchronization through iTunes and did not know you could synchronize AirPlay streams through iOS.

Eddy, the Spotify plugin does not impede on AirPlay. However, you have to follow the guidelines on the web interface.

    Hi guys,
The -s command definitely works. It is in use constantly in our test environment.
Please try using the IP address of your server device instead of the name. The name can lead to issues sometimes.

It is indeed a puzzling error you are experiencing. Are you still not able to hear any music anymore and are your favourites still missing from the LMS interface? If so, please share your debug logs from the M2P web interface from the Squeezebox Server menu.

    Hi Marc,
Have you tried mounting with a different user login and following Mohammad’s guidelines? We have a Synology DiskStation here in our offices and regularly mount paths on Max2Play devices without issues, so I do not think that Synology is the problem.

    Hi Guy,

You are not in our shop system as an active premium license owner. Perhaps you have a voucher code to get a trial license in our shop? If so, please enter that when buying a trial license in your shopping cart as a discount coupon to get it for free.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the active discussion and feedback. We will look into the librespot update.

    @SergeR
: The login is necessary for the Connect player to run properly. If you want the more versatile option, try the new LMS plugin by Herger that seems to be working greatly: https://www.max2play.com/en/forums/topic/new-hope-for-spotify-lms-plugin

    6. Juni 2017 at 12:20 #29251

Great to hear it works, motamas!

Your issues seem to be connected to your setup and LMS. Please either create a thread on the specific issues and your setup here or check out the discussion on the LMS plugin by Herger here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107418-For-the-brave-only-the-Spotty-Spotify-implementation/page29

    Hi Guy,
The first issue is browser-related. Just add a / at the end of „max2play/“. If you still cannot access the device, please try checking your router’s web interface for new devices and type the IP of the Max2Play device in your URL bar. You can then rename the device and check again.

    Hi Ronald,
You can find the error logs in our web interface in the bottom of every menu. The system’s logs can be found in the Settings/Reboot menu. Just click the „debug info“ text. Your favorites should not have been affected by a server outage on our end. Please try rebooting your system and check again.

    4. Juni 2017 at 16:34 #29225

    Hi Guy,
Sorry about the inconvenience. This might be connected to a server outage we experienced in the last few hours. Please try it again by removing the license, clicking save with a blank field and reentering the license.

    Hi Phil and Fuselx,

So sorry about the inconvenience and having to keep you waiting. We are currently transferring some support.

What is the result if you currently try playing to the players without the -s command line?

    Hi Tecuma,

Your log does not have any anomalies. However, your issues with the Kodi web interface menu are problematic. We cannot recreate these easily. Can you still access the Kodi HDMI output normally? If so, please check what folder hierarchy shows up when you look for your mounted folder and share it.

    Hi matt,

First please make sure that your system is up to date. You can update your system in Settings/Reboot. Then, you can follow the video I did on the Bluetooth 2.0 plugin here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt96_jnxnnU

    Hi Bretta and lumihei,

@Bretta: We have not had any experience with the Piface Shim, so we cannot guarantee that it will work.

    @lumihei
: As mentioned before, the GPIO pins of screen and sound card overlap and thus cause the system to prioritize one card to run it correctly. Thanks to the Pi’s high affordability and low power cost, we recommend using only one HAT on each Pi under Max2Play.

    31. Mai 2017 at 10:21 #29128

    Hi tommy,
If you have USB periphery connected to your Pi, please try Bluetooth without them connected.

    31. Mai 2017 at 10:20 #29127

    Hi guys,

Thanks Staudie for the tip, have you tried this yet, Carsten?

    30. Mai 2017 at 12:54 #29119

    Hi roscoe,

Some users are already utilizing Bluetooth keyboards for control, so it should be possible: https://www.max2play.com/en/forums/topic/bleutooth-keyboards/

But we cannot guarantee any support for hardware we do not sell or have tested ourselves.

    30. Mai 2017 at 12:50 #29118

    Hi guys,
Sorry to keep you waiting so long. We finally have some Zero W’s in house and are testing and working hard to make them fully compatible. I’ll update this thread when there’s news but will also probably publish a blog article with more details when everything’s settled.

For now, huge thanks to anesthesia for getting creative and sharing the workaround. 🙂

    30. Mai 2017 at 11:49 #29117

    Hi GLC,
Please check the web interface of your router. You should find a new device there named max2play whose IP you can use to connect. Once you have done that, you can rename your device and should be able to access it with that name in the URL bar of any device in your local network.

    30. Mai 2017 at 11:47 #29116

    Hi eriche,

We have not had an issues yet with the default path. But we will look into it and try to recreate the error and fix it if necessary.

    Hi guys,

    Sorry about the wait.

@ Martin: Sorry about the confusion. We’ll add a disclaimer regarding the Sparky board. Please contact Allo for support for this board and its software.

@Lanny: We will look into this, sorry about the delayed response. Does the Piano run fine otherwise? Please share your setup in more detail and update Max2Play if you have not yet.

    @Frederik
: Thanks for the input. Please contact Allo on the Vana Player support.

    30. Mai 2017 at 11:27 #29113

    Hi holzwurm83,

    30. Mai 2017 at 11:22 #29111

    Hi perlut,

The recommended volume is indicated next to each slider. But of course you adjust the volume to your liking. 🙂

    30. Mai 2017 at 11:13 #29109
