    Dear gapmedia,

    Sorry for the late response.

If the Cirrus Logic soundcard already works, you don’t need a kernel upgrade.

    Dear Marc Letourneau,

please make a BETA update. This should fix your problem

    Dear Gary S,

Is this option already possible if you connect your smartphone with the Bose speaker? Or did you have to start it with the ON/OFF button on the BOSE speaker, too?

    Hello southafricanrob,

First, please make an update to the latest Max2Play version – 2.37

Then try it again. Normally you can change the playername over the Max2Play webinterface in the Settings/Reboot menu. This changes the Squeezebox Player name, too.

To force headphone jack, you can open the Raspberry Settings menu. There is the option to force the headphone jack.

    Hello cyrano4711,

This function is already given. You can use the plugin – password protection.

1.) Download the plugin – copy the download url and paste it in the Settings/Reboot menu in the Max2Play webinterface

2.) Configure your password protection – don’t forget to give your own password and username!

    Hello sanghoon,

    Thanks for your request.

In the Raspberry Settings you can find all sound cards which are supported with Max2Play.
Your sound card is not supported. But you can test this sound card. Or build your own compatible plugin with the pluginbuilder.
For all functions with Max2Play you will need a premium license

    Best Regards.

    Hello lew-hand,

Normally this function works without any problems. Please check – is the mpd deactivated? Is Kodi deactivated?

Only one check box must be set in the field for Autostart Squeezelite. This option can be found in the Audioplayer menu.

    Best Regards

    Hello tparvais and robertcroucher,

    Sorry for the late response.

Could you both send us the DEBUG information of the Squeezebox Server? The last 50 lines should be enough.

    Hello Aleks,

    Thanks for your request.
Pulse Audio could be working. But it have to run on both devices. For kodi it is necessary to have a second sound card.

    Hello cyrano4711,

Thanks for your request and for buy a premium license. You can connect your license with your forum account, so we can see that you already bought a premium license. Here you can find the site

Now go on with your issue.

Is this issue only if you search after networks? Or is your device sometimes disconnected?

    Hello mkaleu,

    Thanks for your request.

Actually it is not possible to set this function in our settings. But maybe you can build a plugin for other users with the pluginbuilder.

You can connect with the device over SSH and open /opt/max2play/wpa-supplicant.conf –> here you only have to add the second wifi.

    Hallo javalin,

    Hello stephi,

    Thanks for your request.

Please try to deactivate the inbuild audio of the Raspberry Pi under Raspberry Settings. If you do thi you have to set „-o hw:0 -V Master“ in the command line options. So the AMP should be deactivated if Squeezelite is stopped.

    Hello Mar Letourneau,

Are Bluetooth controllers still displayed when you are looking for them?

Please try to deactivate the autostart of jivelite.

Which plugins are running at the same time on your setup?

    Hallo sirsmu,

    Danke für deine Anfrage.

1.) Please test it is sufficient to restart the Squeezebox radio.
2.) Please check wether the music (if the asynchrony appears) has a different audio format.
3.) Please test a connection with LAN instead of Wifi.

    Hallo Low-Tech,

    ————————————–

What is in the audio player menu at Squeezelite -> Advanced settings -> Command line parameters ? And have you already set the tick for Use USB sound card ?

    Hello phamd4,

If you connect your device with your wifi (you can find it in the Wifi/LAN menu of the Max2Play webinterface) it is already a option for autoreconnect given. You have to disconnect the LAN cable from your device. Otherwise it will not work.

    Hallo lucky51179,

    Hello omer1143,

    Thanks for your request.

This is because this HAT is not supported in the current kernel version.

Try to connect the Raspberry Pi Zero with a wifi dongle with your router. Then make a kernel update (you will find it in the Raspberry Settings menu). Shutdown the device and disconnect the wifi dongle from your device. After this try your HAT a second time.

    Best Regards.

    Hello LowTech,

    Thanks for your request.

Please try to disable the inbuild audio. You will find it in the Raspberry Pi Settings menu. For this you will need a Max2Play premium license.

Please check that there is not running a second audioplayer. (Take a look into the Kodi/XBMC menu and check that shairport is also disabled)

    Hallo Welle1965,

Max2Play uses Raspbian as its operating system.

I recommend you to use Jivelite. There is a shutdown button which you can use with the 7″ touch display, so you don’t need a switch.

    Hello bombadil79,

I ask you again – which image did you use? On our website are more than one image. Do you use the default image? Or the HiFiBerry Image?

    2. Do you use some additional devices with the raspberry? Something like a usb dongle or a external hard drive?

    3. Which power supply do you use?

    4. Please try to stop Squeezelite if you get the problem.

    5. Please take a look into the advanced settings of the squeezelite player (you will find it in the Audioplayer menu) and tell me what is in the textbox for the command line options.

    Hello kariem112,

    Thanks for your request.

Please take a look into this topic. You only have to update to the newest Max2Play version (2.37) and choose the cirrus logic sound card in the Raspberry settings. Then it should work.

    [SOLVED] M2P 2.34/2.36, RPi 3 and Wolfson/Cirrus card.

    Hello vta14,

    Thanks for your request.

When you install ampache there will be changed a lot. To remove this you should set up a new image or leave it installed. Actually there is no uninstall option.
