Did you use an adblocker? Or other plugins?
And is javascript activated?
One thing which could be is that you have activate the compatibility mode of the internet explorer. Take out the tick in „use Microsoft compatibility list“.

To activate your USB DAC, go to the ‚Raspberry Settings‘ and disable the build-in audio of the Raspberry Pi. Then go into the Audioplayer menu and activate under ‚Squeezelite‘ – ‚advanced settings‘ your usb dac.

You were right. We already work on this topic. And try to implement it with the next update. But since Raspbian Jessie the standard-browser doesn’t work any longer.
If you want to get a alternative browser install the remote control (it is a Max2Play Plugin), please. then enter the following into the terminal:

raspberrysudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgradethen
sudo apt-get install iceweaselNow you can use firefox. It should be available in the main menu.

You were right.
Now I was testing both. Here are my results. The problem is still a to low energy.
First test: Raspberry Pi 2 and HifiBerry AMP+ (with edimax wifi dongle, 2.5″ hard drive and the hifiberry amp+ power supply). My hard drive is hanging/klicking like you said.
The problem was a to low energy. For this you have to change the Raspberry Settings and set a tick under max USB current (Increases the intensity of current on USB-Ports. If enabled, the USB-Ports get 1.2A instead of only 0.6A.) – now my hard drive run without hanging.
Second test: Raspberry Pi 2 and HifiBerry AMP + (with edimax wifi dongle; 7″ touch screen and only with the hifiberry amp+ power supply)
Now my hard drive having the same issue. I restart my system but first I plug in an additional 2,5A power supply into the raspberry pi. Now the hard drive is running without a issue.
So please try these two things: activate the „max. usb current“ in Raspberry Settings and plug in a additional power supply. I hope it is a help for you to solve the problem.

you need an extra power supply for your hard drive. I got the same issue with my 2,5″ hard drive. It works with an additional usb hub with a additional power supply for the hard drive. The power supply of the computer consumes all the energy already for the WLAN stick, the amplifier and the Raspberry Pi.

The Raspberry only has outputs. So you need a soundcard with an input. The wolfson cirrus logic has some inputs.

Nutzt du nach wie vor die gleiche Stromversorgung? Da du den Touchscreen angeschlossen hast, vermutlich auch einen WLAN-Adapter, wird die alte Stromquelle nicht mehr genügen.

Das ist korrekt. Der Unterschied zwischen Raspberry Pi 2 und 3 ist minimal. In diesen Einstellungen wird nur Unterschieden zwischen Raspberry Pi 1, Raspberry Pi Zero oder Odroid Geräten.

It is already possible to use spotify with airplay. For this you can use the Shairport of Max2Play. And the same is possible with your pc. Spotify is using Airplay-devices and you also can connect with this.

wie schon besprochen haben wir das nun getestet. Wie std das schon richtig erkannt hat funktioniert das nicht auf dem direkten Weg.
Es ist jedoch möglich mit Airplay bzw. Squeezer diese Funktionen eingeschränkt zu nutzen. Kurzes Szenario, welches wir testen konnten:
Musik-Wiedergabe auf verschiedene Geräte über den Squeezebox Server
Dafür befindet sich im Squeezebox Server selber in der oberen rechten Ecke ein Drop Down Menü, welches die verfügbaren und kompatiblen Geräte anzeigt.Musik-Wiedergabe mit Spotify über ein Apple Gerät
Hier hilft Airplay. Airplay ist so integriert das es auch die Max2Play Geräte erkennt und auch schon vorinstalliert ist. In der Spotify App selber werden auch die Airplay-Geräte angezeigt (darunter auch die Max2Play-Geräte über den aktiven Shairport). Alternativ kann man hier auch noch iPeng installieren. Das ist nochmal eine Unterstützung für de Verwaltung der Musik auf dem Squeezebox Server.Musik-Wiedergabe mit Spotify über ein Android-Smartphone
Ähnlich wie bei den Apple Geräten mit Airplay. Für ein Android Smartphone lädt man sich die App „Squeezer“ aus dem App Store. Diese ermöglicht dann die Steuerung des Squeezebox Servers über die App. Dabei ist es dann auch möglich Spotify Playlists wiederzugeben. Ähnlich wie bei Spotify Connect. Dafür wird der Shairport benötigt. Dieser ist unter dem Audioplayer-Tab der Max2Play Browsersteuerung zu finden.22. August 2016 at 14:43 #22405Hello Fredly,

in deinem Fall wäre es die einfachste Variante einen IQaudIO DigiAMP+ zu nutzen. Dieser unterstützt auch WAV-Dateien mit niedrigeren Sampleraten.

It is not possible to use both with the odroid. It is using only one – the emmc or the microsd. So Max2Play is only looking for external usb drives.

das Problem haben wir nun behoben. Es lag an einem Parameter welcher beim Mounten von Speichergeräten gesetzt wird.
Bitte versuche das Image nochmal neu zu installieren und führe dann ein Update auf Version 2.35 durch. Danach sollte es wieder funktionieren. Hier ist die Anleitung und die Download-Links.

Another possible is to login as user „pi“ and with the password „raspberry“. But „root“ and „max2play“ should working. Raspbian is using the English tastatur layout, if you use the English max2play version.
If you use the Squeezebox Server it could be possible the application tries to connect with the hard drive. Max2Play use HD-Idle for the sleep mode of hard drives. The default of it is to go in sleep mode after 10 minutes
