    Hello,

    I use the m2p_rpi3_hifiberry_232.img but the Browser is not working. I get the error: invalid desktop entry file /ust/share/applications/lxde-x-www-browser.desktop

    How can i fix it?

    Hello mkaleu and welcome to our forum,

    you should install an other browser in Rasbpian. Like firefox (iceweasel) or something else.

    Ok, natürlich könnte ich jetzt einen anderen Browser installieren, wenn ich wüßte wie das geht. Ich habe mich aber gerade für max2play entschieden weil, „Noch nie war die Bedienung deines Raspberry Pis einfacher.“ Warum wurde der Browser aus der jetzigen Version entfernt? Ich habe das 7″ Display und möchte den media Server direkt über das Display bedienen. Zumindest möchte ich mich in ein Wlan direkt über das Display einloggen können. Dazu würde ich im localhost max2play aufrufen.

    Hello mkaleu,

    You were right. We already work on this topic. And try to implement it with the next update. But since Raspbian Jessie the standard-browser doesn’t work any longer.

    If you want to get a alternative browser install the remote control (it is a Max2Play Plugin), please. then enter the following into the terminal:

    user:
    pi

    password:
    raspberry

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade

    then

    sudo apt-get install iceweasel

    Now you can use firefox. It should be available in the main menu.
