We shifted our efforts to the Raspberry Pi family of products a while ago. However, the linked image of our Odroid OS should still work flawlessly despite any error messages you might encounter. Did you use the most current version of Max2Play? We got to test the Zero W just a few days ago and made it compatible with an update right after.The WPS connection takes a little time.

You can ocntrol everything from any browser in your network, just type „max2play/“ in the URL.
You can use the full scope of the Squeezebox system. Therein, a lot of plugins for multiroom audio use are included. Radio is no problem as are creating playlists and editing them.
A quick search gave me a possible solution for soundCloud, but he have not tested it yet: https://github.com/danielvijge/SqueezeCloud

Since bluetooth is a fickle connection, I recommend you try to eliminate all possible interferences. Try to deactivate WiFi if you are using LAN, try moving the BT signal closer and see whether the playback improves.

I’m happy you resolved your issue. However, you do not need to enter the desktop or the SSH for Max2Play. Everything is controlled from the web interface. Just type „max2play/“ in any browser in your local network and you can make alls necessary configurations. Kodi is preinstalled and so are some audio players. We also have a SambaShares plugin for network shares and an easy mouting feature.

@jerome: LMS is the Logitech Media Server, the open-source software that serves as the core of the multiroom system under Max2Play. Firstly, please make absolutely sure that your folders and files are do not have special rights or encryptions. This can trip up the Pi in recognizing a share.
Then, please try the credentials airheader used to fix his issue with Synology (click).

Sorry about the delayed answer.
The Digi+ Pro should work fine with the Digi/Digi+ selection in for sound card.
3. and 4. are only individually possible and not at once as the BT pairing can only work with one device at a time.
We have not had any experience with DVD playery yet but appreciate an update on your efforts.

Aktuell haben wir leider keine Möglichkeit zum Booten über USB geplant. Wir empfehlen jedoch zu versuchen, max USB current in den Raspberry Settings zu aktivieren.
