Squeezebox Apps sind in der Tat sogar die empfohlene Steuerungsvariante (meinerseits) bei Nutzung mit Android oder iOS.
Zum umsonst ausprobieren rate ich dir „Squeezer“ für Android. Bei einer hochwertigeren Bezahlvariante kannst du zu „Orange Squeeze“ greifen.
Für iOS ist die App „iPeng“ sowohl für iPad als auch iPhone der Favorit.
Außerdem gibt es noch unzählige andere Apps, vor allem für Android. Einfach mal im Play Store „Squeezebox“ eingeben, da sollten direkt einige auftauchen 😉

Klingt super, wir warten gespannt. Zu Hausautomatisierung haben wir auch ein paar spezielle Plugins im Repertoire, falls da noch Interesse besteht. (Homematic Fritzbox Verknüpfung zu Netzwerkstatus, FHEM Server, Callblocker)
Dank des Squeezebox Systems und dessen simpler HTTP-Befehl-Integration, haben auch schon viele Nutzer Systeme wie Loxone mit Max2Play eingebunden.

Wenn möglich könntest du erstmal versuchen, die Kabel auszutauschen um diese als Fehlerquelle ausschließen zu können.
Außerdem noch alle ggf. angeschlossenen anderen Geräte über USB entfernen um ein Stromversorgungsproblem auszuschließen.
Beim Fall eines erneuten Errors am besten den Health Checker im Einstellungen/Reboot Menü prüfen.

Mein Aussgaben beziehen sich ausschließlich auf unsere Expertise, den Raspberry Pi und dessen Kapazitäten. HAT Soundkarten sind Soundkarten, welche auf den Raspberry Pi über den GPIO Header (Pinleisten) gesteckt werden. So wird die beste Übertragungsqualität für Raspberry Pi erreicht. Das selbe gilt für WiFi + Bluetooth. Diese Empfehlung basiert auf Erfahrungswerten mit dem Raspberry Pi.
Dahingehend wäre jedoch noch die Option, das simple DLNA Protokoll im Squeezebox Server für normale Übertragung vom Smartphone oder Tablet zu benutzen. Apps wie AllConnect oder BubbleUPnP sollten alle Squeeze Player automatisch und direkt erkennen und alles streamen lassen können.

Den USB Stick und dessen Verzeichnis findest du in unserem Dateisystem/Mount Menü.
Um ihn beim Squeezebox Server als Quelle anzugeben, musst du in die Einstellungen von diesem mit dem großen Button im Squeezebox Server Menü und dann unten rechts.

With Pi3, the Max2Play image automatically recongizes the BT module. You do not need to install x-server manually.
Please burn a fresh image, add the BT plugin and check again.

Unfortunately, the Wolfson card is not produced, updated or supported with most software, anymore.
You can install an older version of Max2Play to still run it (Legacy versions in our download page, version 2.26), but some time ago a Kernel update was not supported and shortly after that, Cirrus and Wolfson stopped manufacturing and actively supporting the card.
Since then, we amended our documentation to remove or qualify our support of Wolfson cards. Please let us know if we missed any statements on the card regarding Max2Play’s current version.

Does the volume slider in the LMS also not affect the output?
Please make sure the command line options‘ „hw:0“ says zero, not one when having built-in audio deactivated.
Please also try removing the command line options and running the setup without.

Danke für das Feedback. Wir werden dies in naher Zukunft in die FAQ’s aufnehmen.
Für audiophilen Hörgenuss empfehlen wir grundsätzlich die Nutzung von HAT Soundkarten. Bluetooth als Übertragungsprotokoll ist in jedem System oder Gerät suboptimal für HiFi-Lösungen. Das Problem von Interferenzen zwischen WiFi und Bluetooth ist auch ein allgemeines Problem.

Das Feature ist nur für Bastler. Unsere Plugins sind alle mit dem installierten Kernel kompatibel und gewisse Features die einen Wechsel brauchen, schieben diesen dann in ihrer Installation selbst an. Falls man jedoch ein Plugin bauen will oder manuell etwas nachinstallieren will, dass einen anderen Kernel benötigt, wird einem so die Arbeit leicher gemacht 😉
edit. Und es freut mich natürlich zu hören, dass das Update gut funktioniert hat. Danke fürs Feedback 🙂

@zelfiris: this is not necessarily the issue, so if you can test once with someone else’s PS or try to exhaust your other options beforehand, I would advise you to do so.@Jesn: This might rule out the power supply as source of error. But since both amp’s show the same behaviour, a defect in the amp is also unlikely. I am currently doing a long-term test with an AMP2 that a customer sent back reporting crackling noise which I have not yet been able to produce, so there might be other factors to the AMP’s setup that might affect its performance. If you don’t have it hooked up to the power outlet directly, please also try doing so.

First of all, the power supply is operating at maximum capacity for the AMP2, so if you have a 12-16V PS available, please also test the playback with it.
Regarding the HB driver, we already load and preconifgure the ideal driver for the sound card once you select it in the HiFiBerry Plugin and reboot your Pi.

Entschuldigt bitte die späte Rückmeldung. Leider gestaltet sich die Unterstützung von CEC zunehmend schwieriger mit jedem neuen Update seitens Debian und Raspberry Pi. Deshalb ist dieses Feature leider auch nicht garantiert einwandfrei einsetzbar. Hinzu kommen die von Willy erwähnten Variablen, welche es unmöglich machen für mich, einzelne Fehler in unterschiedlichen Systmen nachzuvollziehen.
