Hi ryan,
According to their kickstarter, they use the default drivers for Raspberry, so it should work with Max2Play.
However, the breakdown of the channels is something we would either have to test on a card ourselves or you would have to inquire from the manufacturers.
For inspiration, you can have a look at this user solution to break down the channels of the Logilink 7.1 USB sound card: https://www.max2play.com/en/forums/topic/multisqueeze-mit-logflink-7-1-usb-soundkarte/
14. August 2017 at 9:53 #30595Hi pocster,
What parameters are entered in your command line options and what output device do you have selected?
14. August 2017 at 9:32 #30593Hallo motamas,
Was genau meinst du mit dem grafischen Menü? Jivelite?
11. August 2017 at 16:38 #30571Hi Arianna,
Here’s the plugin page: https://www.max2play.com/en/portfolio/plugin-speech-control/
And that’s the install URL you need to paste: http://shop.max2play.com/media/downloadable/beta/voicecontrol.tar
11. August 2017 at 16:12 #30570Hallo Werner,
#### SQUEEZELITE VERSION ####
Squeezelite Max2Play v1.0.2 based on v1.8.4-726, Copyright 2012-2015 Adrian Smith, 2015-2016 Ralph Irving.Bitte löschen die Kommandozeilen Parameter aus Squeezelite vorm Update. Dies sollte dann klappen.
11. August 2017 at 13:33 #30568Hi Stefan,
11. August 2017 at 12:41 #30567Hi guys,
I was now able to test it and while it took a long time to occur, I was able to recreate the error once.
However, unfortunately this issue is not related to Max2Play or the implementation of librespot on it. Here it is: https://github.com/plietar/librespot/issues/156
It is a bug that will probably soon be fixed. Once this is the case, this fix will also occur in Max2Play and will inform you.
If this issue is so persistent with your setup that you need an alternative, please have a look at this solution with the Squeezebox Server:
11. August 2017 at 11:15 #30565Hi schmello,
10. August 2017 at 11:26 #30543Hi Berry,
10. August 2017 at 11:12 #30541Hi Fabien,
Have you tried making an update of Max2Play, yet? There might be an internet connection issue with your Pi.
I just tested the installation and it should work fine with version 2.44 of Max2Play.
10. August 2017 at 9:30 #30534Hi Piet,
Guess what, there’s also a Blackberry App for Squeezebox control: https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/24401/
10. August 2017 at 9:28 #30533Hi ryan,
Mountpoint on Max2Play (for usage in Squeezebox Server or XBMC): /mnt/mountdir/ Mountpoint must be a subdirectory in /mnt/ OR /media/ and will be generated, if it is not existing. This is the case for „share“.
In Options, copy and paste the line beneath. Replace name with your username and pass with your password.
user=name,password=pass,sec=ntlm,iocharset=utf8Please watch the video on mounting again if other issues arise.
9. August 2017 at 15:56 #30524Hi guys,
There is an update! We now allow separate volume control. Just follow these steps:
– Beta-Update Max2Play under Settings/Reboot
– Do a Kernel Upgrade in the Raspberry Settings menu (button at the bottom of the page)
– The Kernel should now be Kernel 4.9.41 (you can check in Settings/Reboot in the Debug Info)
– The beta updated Allo Plugin menu now has a “Master” element to adjust the volume
– If you want to connect it to Squeezelite, you have to replace the -V Digital with -V Master in the commando line options of Squeezelite9. August 2017 at 15:54 #30523Hi mattzee,
Synchronised Master Volume (Speaker & Subwoofer) is now possible.
To make it work, please follow these steps:
– Beta-Update Max2Play under Settings/Reboot
– Do a Kernel Upgrade in the Raspberry Settings menu (button at the bottom of the page)
– The Kernel should now be Kernel 4.9.41 (you can check in Settings/Reboot in the Debug Info)
– The beta updated Allo Plugin menu now has a „Master“ element to adjust the volume
– If you want to connect it to Squeezelite, you have to replace the-V Digitalwith-V Masterin the commando line options of Squeezelite9. August 2017 at 15:24 #30522Okay Ryan, I’ll answer one by one 😀
– For iOS the best and one most familiar to us is iPeng. However, you can always use the web interface of the LMS which is just IP/NAME:9000 in most cases.
– You can change the name of your device and consequently the name to reach it by in the Settings/Reboot menu. This also often solves this issue. You can also activate „Network Lookup“ there to see all your devices, their IP and immediately switch between them (top right corner of the web interface, wait a little after activating for it to work)
– Synchronized AirPlay is currently only possible with shairport and only on iTunes.
– Yes, the three features in the Filesystem/Mount menu all offer their own solutions.
First is just a mount guide, you need the parameters from the share you want from your NAS and a login for the NAS. Just follow the help.
Second is just USB, automatically mounts drives connected via USB
Third is SambaShares, create one, it shows up on all devices in your network and you can put files on it from anywhere if you allow the share to.
– You don’t, just disable them. The ones that take up space can be uninstalled on their own page.
9. August 2017 at 15:13 #30520Hi Marcel,
9. August 2017 at 15:11 #30519Hi Tecuma,
In your case, I would recommend a completely new image. It might be, your card is overloaded. You can check the free space of your image in the Settings/Reboot menu under „Debug Info“.
9. August 2017 at 14:22 #30515Hi Marco,
The log is found in the Debug Info window.
I have now set up a test player and will try to recreate the issue.
However, I have not encountered it yet. Are you both using Raspberry Pi 3 models?
9. August 2017 at 11:55 #30512Hi stredwizard,
Thanks for sharing the log and clarifying your issue.
We have found a bug in the install script and fixed it in the current beta.
You can either make a beta update, reboot your system and install the homebridge again or just install the plugin again from the same URL and reboot.
9. August 2017 at 11:47 #30511Hi Superwuehlmaus,
This issue is probably related to tagging problems.
Here is a relevant discussion on the same problem: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?101211-LMS-does-not-recognize-WAV-files
Please try removing all meta data from one of your .wav files, to see whether the issue persists.
9. August 2017 at 11:28 #30508Hi olahr,
Unfortunately, we do not have a DNS or VPN solution for Max2Play currently.
However, you can check out the slimdevices forums and ask their community for some solutions with the LMS: http://forums.slimdevices.com/
9. August 2017 at 11:05 #30506Hallo Stefan,
9. August 2017 at 10:34 #30505Hi Ryan,
Sorry about the confusion.
Which playback option did you select in the first page of Max2Play?
I assume you are using the Squeezebox system. Thus, you just need to access the installed server from the „Squeezebox Server“, where you will find all the playback options you are used to. The server recognizes all players in your network and lets you sync them at will (top right corner of the Squeezebox Server web interface).
Also, please tell us which information exactly confused you, so that we can amend this issue for other customers.
9. August 2017 at 10:30 #30503Hallo Manu,
– fixed Mountpoint entfernen
– beta update durchführen
– System neustarten
– neuen fixed Mountpoint setzen
– der Wert „iocharset=utf8“ sollte jetzt enthalten sein in den mountoptionen8. August 2017 at 16:52 #30497Hi stredwizard,
As mentioned in the other thread:
The Config has to be changed manually in the web interface under “Edit Homebridge Config”. Here’s our HowTo on exactly how you can set it up: https://www.max2play.com/en/how-tos/how-to-max2play-voice-control-with-apple-voice-assistant-siri/The Webinterface of HomeBridge is not intended to be used in this solution. Please refrain from trying to use it.
8. August 2017 at 9:08 #30490Hallo Steini,
