    Hi Nojelc,

    sorry to hear that you still have problems. Installing the Plugin using the URL https://www.max2play.com/download/15362/ should really do the job for you, but obviously it doesn’t. As the system had to deal with several unsuccessful installation attempts over the course of the last few months, we cannot exclude the possibility that something is seriously broken within your image. In this case I see no other option than starting with a newly burnt image again.

    Sorry, we have currently no plans for a plugin to make the Pi become a bluetooth player.

    Hi Gary,

    thank you for your inquiry.

    Please try to reboot your Pi first. If the problems still persists then I would recommend you to check the following:

    1. Navigate to Settings / Reboot
    2. Scroll down to „DEBUG Info:“
    3. Is the filesystem (nearly) full (>80% space in use)?
    4. Is the average CPU Load below 1.00?

    thank you for your inquiry.

    I strongly recommend you to restart your Max2Play device after establishing the wireless LAN connection and unplugging the ethernet cable. Please note that the IP address of your Pi might change when you switch from wired LAN to wireless LAN. In this case you would simply have to change the URL in your browser bar.

    Hallo Stefan,

    uns ist leider immer noch nicht klar, was du dir genau vorstellst. Shairtunes und Airplay betrifft nur Apple Geräte. Mit Android-Smartphones hat das erst mal nichts zu tun, daher brauchst du das eigentlich gar nicht installieren. Für uns wäre daher erst einmal interessant, ob überhaupt Musik aus den Boxen kommt (z.B. von Radiostreams).

    Max2Play is based on Raspbian. For a list of supported devices you may look at this list. The WLAN Adapter available in our shop is currently the Logilink WL0084B with Ralink RT5370 Chipset, which works just fine. We have no experience with the particular model you mentioned, though.

    habt ihr eines der älteren vorkonfigurierten HiFiBerry/IQaudIO-Images auf eurem Pi3 installiert? Wenn ja, dann versucht es bitte noch einmal mit dem neuen 2.28 Image „BETA: Max2Play Raspberry Pi 3 (SD-Card Image based on Raspbian Jessie Lite)“ von unserer Downloadseite. Die Unterstützung für eure HiFiBerry bzw. IQaudIO Soundkarte könnt ihr dann später mit der entsprechenden Erweiterung nachrüsten.

    have you installed one of the older preconfigured HiFIBerry/IQaudIO-Images onto your Pi3? If so, then please try again with the new 2.28 Image „BETA: Max2Play Raspberry Pi 3 (SD-Card Image based on Raspbian Jessie Lite)“ from our download page. You can add support for your HiFiBerry or IQaudIO soundcard later on by using the appropriate extension.

    thank you for your reply.

    In our tests the check for available Squeezebox Server Versions worked flawlessly. Right now I see two possible reasons for this issue.

    a) Your Pi has no internet connection. Try to login to your Pi via ssh (by using putty for instance) and type: ping -c3 downloads.slimdevices.com. This will perform a ping to the Download-Server for Squeezebox-Server used by Max2Play. You would see a message like „unknown host“ if your Pi has no internet connection. After that you would have to check your network settings.

    or

    b) There is something wrong with your image. In this case I recommend you to download the correct Max2Play image from our website again (to make sure the download is not broken in the first place) and follow the instructions on our Getting-Started page.

    thank you for your question.

    Please make sure your webbrowser has Javascript enabled or try a different webbrowser altogether. Your Pi also has to have a working internet connection in the first place. „LMS-Version not existing“ appears when you don’t pick an option in the dropdown menu. But as it is empty, there is nothing to choose from 😉

    So: A few seconds after clicking on „Show available Versions“ while your Pi is connected to the internet, it should allow you to pick one version in the dropdown menu. It also automatically fills in the corresponding Download-URL from http://downloads.slimdevices.com/ in the text box below, depending on the choosen Squeezebox Server version.

    thank you for your input. In our tests the filesystem expansion worked flawlessly, so it is hard for us to reproduce the issue. However, I strongly recommend you to check for updates on your Beta-Version.

    Max2Play nutzt einen Zeitserver, um sich automatisch zu synchronisieren. Daher wäre meine erste Vermutung, dass dein Pi keine Verbindung zum Internet hat.

    zur Zeit konzentrieren wir uns schwerpunktmäßig noch auf das Raspberry Pi 3 Image. Die Umsetzung der CEC-Unterstützung wird jedoch auf jeden Fall wieder in den Fokus rücken, aber ich kann leider noch keinen festen Termin nennen.

    Unfortunately Max2Play does not offer support for Pipo X8. You can check the max2play files on GitHub. Adding support for the Pipo X8 would probably require various adjustments to the code and further tests as well, for which we do not have the capacities for.

    Hi mkkyah,

    if the reason for your problem is Pulseaudio, you may want to try either of the two options:

    1) Edit /opt/max2play/start_xbmc.sh and uncomment the line that says killall pulseaudio
    or
    2) Run this script manually as root before you start Kodi.

    Please let us know if this helps. In any case, it is also advisable to install the latest image build for your U3.

    vielen Dank für deine Anfrage. Max2Play unterstützt Pogoplug E02 nicht offiziell. Du könntest das Squeezeplug Image von unserer Downloadseite ausprobieren und dann hier von deinen Erfahrungen berichten.

    Hallo janvk,

    du kannst die gegenwärtig installierte Version von Max2Play ablesen, wenn du die Benutzeroberfläche des Max2Play mit deinem Browser aufrufst und in die rechte obere Ecke blickst. Aktuell ist 2.28. Außerdem erscheint auf der Startseite ggf. der Hinweis „Max2Play Update ist verfügbar auf dem Reiter Einstellungen / Reboot“, wenn du noch nicht die aktuelle Version benutzt.

    In Jivelite unter „Einstellungen“ –> „Anzeige“ –> „Skin wählen“ den „Joggler-Skin“ auswählen und dann unter Anzeige –> Bildschirmschoner die Uhr auswählen.

    Hallo midimo,

    Danke für dein posting.

    Ich kann mir dein Setup noch nicht so recht vorstellen. Was meinst du zum Beispiel mit DAC-Amp? Es würde uns helfen, wenn du die genauen Lautsprecher- und Soundkartenmodelle angibst, die du benutzt.
    Hast du schon unseren Multiroom-Audiokonfigurator probiert?
