SD-Kartenfehler (und das auf mittlerweile auf drei verschiedenenen) halte ich bei mir für unwahrscheinlich. Das mit dem Apache-Restart hilft gut und besagtes dist-upgrade habe ich jetzt auch gemacht. Ich beobachte das weiter, aber scheint erstmal OK zu laufen… Danke für die Tipps soweit.
Mit Airplay bin ich noch nicht zufrieden, aber dafür mache ich beizeiten einen separaten Thread auf.
7. März 2019 at 22:14 #44705Der Bugfix war es nicht… Nach dem Backup der SD Karte hatte ich die ja zurückgetan und den B+ gestartet. Und siehe da, LMS Webzugriff war kein Problem, m2p Oberfläche hingegen schon. Also sound-max’s Tipp befolgt: mit ssh ran apache Neustart und schwupps ist die Oberfläche wieder da.
Im dmesg sehe immer noch nichts verdächtiges. Tja, wie kommen wir dem apache-Absturz nun auf die Schliche, Jungs?

Update: Ich habe jetzt ein Backup der Karte zu einem Zeitpunkt gemacht, wo noch alles gut läuft. Jetzt probier‘ ich die Installation des Shairtunes2 Bugfixes aus, den habe ich momentan im Verdacht.
7. März 2019 at 22:03 #44703Das Setup besteht aus RPI B+ mit HifiBerry Digi Clone, stabile Spannungsquelle auf 5,1VDC eingestellt.
1x 64GB USB-Stick, 1x WB 1,5 TB USB-Platte (ntfs, deren +5V hängt direkt mit am Netzteil).Dieses Setup lief mit RPI 3 B (anstatt mit B+) seit über 3 Jahren sehr stabil (war damals glaube ich 2.42 oder so). Hab‘ eigentlich nur 3B durch B+ ersetzt, ist etwas langsamer…
SD Karten sind auch fit, 2x Kingston 8GB.
6. März 2019 at 21:45 #44681Also noch ein Versuch mit dem 247 image. Wie oben: Nach HifiBerry Digi Konfig, Namensänderung, Lizenz-Emaileingabe und Reboot ist die Oberfläche OK.
Airplay wird angezeigt, liefert aber keinen Ton.
Installiere nun LMS 7.9.1, werde aber dann erstmal nicht an dessen plugins herumschrauben und auch nicht den Shairtunes2 Bugfix einspielen.6. März 2019 at 21:05 #44680Hab in die letzte Konfig (unitymediarouter und RPI B+) mal spaßeshalber eine Volumio-Sd Karte reingesteckt. Router vergibt dieselbe IP (ist denke ich normal, hängt wohl an der MAC des RPI) und Zugriff per http://192.168.178.108 auf volumio’s weboberfläche gelingt einwandfrei.

Zugriff m2p geht nicht, LMS-Weboberfläche hingegen schon.6. März 2019 at 19:34 #44678Nun, das Heimnetz ist seit 4 Jahren unveränder konfiguriert und lief mit den Vorgängerversionen des max2play images ohne weiteres (OK, das war aber ein 3B, den habe ich versehentlich am Samstag gekillt).
Und mit dem neuen 2.47 Image (und dem B+) kam ich ja in den letzten beiden Anläufen ja bis hinter die LMS Installation. Bis dahin ging ohne weiteres der Zugriff auf die Weboberfläche. Und die Ports 22 und 9000 scheinen auch zu gehen. Ebenso die Namensauflösung. brain:9000 bringt mich erfolgreich auf die LMS Oberfläche.
Ich habe trotzdem den RPI nun an einen anderen Router (FB 7312 anstatt 7270) angeschlossen. Dasselbe Verhalten. ssh und LMS sind zugreifbar.Gerne probiere ich auch den von Dir vorgeschlagenen Accesspoint-Weg aus. Ich verstehe bloß nicht, wie ich dazu vorgehen soll. Gleich das entsprechende Image nehmen? Und falls ja, dann hat der RPI doch keinen Internetzugriff und könnte die LMS nicht installieren.
Oder soll ich mit dem 2.47 Image starten und nach LMS Installation auch das AP m2p plugin installieren? Wie hast Du Dir das vorgestellt?In der Zwischenzeit probiere ich es nochmals komplett neu mit einem Unitymedia-Modem/Router aus, habe seit gestern DOCSIS-Internet (yeah 370MBit down- und 20MBit upstream)…
5. März 2019 at 21:52 #44669Nach einiger Zeit Musikhören einige der LMS plugins entfernt, z.B. Deezer, Digital In, usw. Und Spotty+RadioParadise hinzugefügt.
m2p neu gebootet.Auch nach längerer Zeit keine Verbindung zur m2p Weboberfläche. Zugriff auf LMS über :9000 geht. Plugins Radio Paradise und Spotty da und funktionieren auch. Ton OK.
ssh-Zugriff :22 geht auch.
Airplay geht auch immer noch.
Kein Zugriff mehr auf m2p Weboberfläche. Dasselbe Problem wie im ersten Versuch.

Läuft das nun, weil es evt. über das LMS plugin läuft? Ging vor der LMS installation ja nicht. Nun gut, ich mache erstmal weiter.

In m2p also: Auswahl HifiBerry (prompt) auf HifiBerry, 30 s warten, dann Digi/digi+, save
settings tab: playername auf brain gestellt, emailadresse angegeben, save. reboot, abgeschlossen.iPhone spotify wiedergabe iPhone geht, airplay brain sichtbar, jedoch keine Ausgabe auf brain.
edit advanced options shairport, gebe dort die IP-adresse an. stop von squeeze+shairport, start von beidem. OK
immer noch keine Soundausgabe über airplay.settings: update m2p. meldet nur aktualisierung zum bluetooth bereich. reboot.
airplay unverändert ohne Tonausgabe. Verbindung/Nutzung airplay geht, es spielt ab. Ist aber nichts hörbar.
Das ist nun eher ein Rückschritt, aber soviel als Zwischenbericht. MAche nun mit LMS Installation weiter.

Von der Reihenfolge weiß ich es leider nicht mehr so genau.Ich habe jetzt eine weitere 8GB SD mit demselben Ursprungsimage fertiggemacht, bootet gerade. Werde mir dieses Mal die Reihenfolge der Schritte notieren und schauen, ob ich wieder dort lande oder weiter komme.

Bloß führen weder „brain“ noch 192.168.178.28 zur altgewohnten max2play Oberfläche. Bevor ich über die (dann noch vorhandene) max2play Oberfläche den LMS installiert und auf HifiBerry Digi umgestellt hatte, ging der Zugriff auch noch. Sound und LMS funktionieren gut. Bloß die Weboberfläche kommt nicht mehr rein.

Na, Spotty habe ich ja schon installiert, das hatte ich doch geschrieben. Das funktioniert ja ganz gut und flott, Dort vermisse ich eigentlich nur, dass das nach vorne springen innerhalb des Stücks nicht (mehr) geht im Vergleich zum triode plugin.
Ist das so oder kann man da vielleicht was machen?

(I am using an iphone6 and streaming via airplay to any each of my three max2play devices works fine (one at a time, though). Works basically for all applications on the iphone that produce sound, including games, the spotify client and the youtube app. Needed to set a „24800:4::“ into the ALSA parameters to make the phone’s video in-sync with the sound).
But how about rendering/pushing via DLNA or alike? I did not succeed in transferring music to the RPi through rendering it from DLNA capable apps running on the iphone. This would be interesting for android OSs.
(edited, as I just discovered an approach from knorke007’s post…
Alternatively, how about Bluetooth? Could I connect using a mobile device and hooking up to M2P/LMS through this channel?)Least but not least, is it possible somehow to have more than one client playing the (same) airplay stream simultaneously?

pi@Luna:~ $Demnach wird gar nicht auf 9000 gehorcht. Hatte das Zurücksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen gewählt, weil Port 9000 nicht erreichbar war. Firewall ist nicht aktiv und ssh-Fernbedienung über Port 4200 funktioniert auch.

again, stopped all services. Only started LMS, made sure that shairtunes2 plugin is active. no airplay device. :-/

„To use Airplay you may choose the Shairport player OR the plugin Shairtunes (install on Squeezebox Server tab), that enables all Squeezeplayers (such as Squeezelite) to act as an Airplay device. This is useful if a soundcard supports only one connected player.“
Does this mean EITHER OR? That could explain why Shairport crashes. But if so, I don’t get the idea of the switch described above.
Please, help clarifying this. Thank you!
30. November 2015 at 22:42 #17069Hi, I have a somewhat easier setup, but it still does not work at all.
It is a Pi 1 B+ model with a HifiBerry compatible I2S soundcard.
I downloaded and installed the M2P HifiBerry image to an 8GB card and did the initial setup in M2P:
1) enter email adress
2) install M2P update
3) set up soundcard
4) mounted network drive (all ethernet)
5) added libs to LMS
6) installed/activated Shairtunes2 pluginSqueezeplug is running fine, radio stations work fine and the LMS settings/plugin page shows the Shairtunes2 plugin as active.
From reading existing documentation it is not clear to me whether this setup as such would already be good enough to enable airplay. Because when looking into the airplay menu on the iPhone (same network of course), no airplay capable device is detected. (I know that the hardware can do this, with the RuneAudio setup airplay to the same hardware config was not an issue).
So I tried to launch the Shairport process from the Audioplayer tab. It claims to launch and then successfully having started a proc ID. But when navigating away and back to the audioplayer tab it is either not running (or showing a higher process ID number, in case auto start is activated). In its settings I have tried various soundcard options and also the automatic audio switch (filling in the M2P’s IP address).
None of these actions would make airplay available in the network.
I guess both processes (Shairtunes and Shairport) are needed? If so, I assume the Shairport process should remain as is instead of crashing and starting over all the time, which is probably happening now. Any hints how to investigate and fix this?
Interestingly, I had the same trouble with a different Raspi using a non-hifiberry-M2P image with an USB-Soundcard, some month ago, but gave up fixing it. But now that both machines are not working, this is too bad…
Any help is greatly appreciated!

But why would the RC server not startup?I am using an unmodified max2play image and have not significantly changed the configuration. I have only entered the license email, added kodi and that’s it.

Further up in the boot log, the linux system as such identifies it correctly as conencted to the USB port and treats it as „USB Audio codec“, more exaclty it lists says:usb 1-1.3: new full-speed USB device number 4 using dwc/otg

hid-generic 0003:08BB:2902.0001: input.hidraw0: USB HID v1.00 Device [Burr-Brown from TIAs mentioned before, the standard linux cores identify this USB device properly, how can I make it work with the M2P image?
