    is it required to re-create the SD Card, i.e. re-write the image or can I upgrade an existing installation to Stretch?

    ok, ja, NAS sind teuer. Mein NAS hat ein i7 CPU, ich habe nur mit der Stromrechnung Probleme 😉

    hmmm…ich weiss nicht mwhr wie ich es installiert habe, ich schau mal im Netz. Ich glaube es war aber nicht so schwer.
    Noch eine Frage, du hast ein Synology – warum nicht auf dem NAS laufen lassen? Dafür gibts ein Plugin denke ich. (ich habe ein QNAP, damit würde es auch gehen).

    Warum brauchst du M2P für dein LMS Server?
    Ich wollte auch ein schnelles LMS….deswegen habe ich einen einfachen Intel Nuc mit SSD genommen (Nuc ~100€ + SSD ~50€ + 2GB RAM). Ich habe Ubuntu 16LTS installiert und dazu LMS. Es funktioniert seit 3 Jahren, ich müsste nie wieder was machen….ist eine super lösung.
    Ich habe auch ein XU4 zuhause, die sind echt toll. Für LMS perfekt. Nimm doch das Ubuntu Image und installiere LMS.

    I didn’t allow me to save the settings, I had tried that already.
    I connected to the Raspi using SSH and rebooted from there, after reboot it was fine again.

    But I am accessing the Raspberry Pi via LAN, how else could I access the web interface? The LAN connection is working…

    I have the same issue…only Spotify Connect plugin running, nothing else. This is not the first time this has happened after enabling SD write protect. Using Hifiberry DAC and latest Max2Play on a Pi3

    I have tried the write protection plugin before but I found it rendered my raspi inoperative once or twice (straight after reboot raspi stopped responding), not sure if it was coincedence or something was wrong. Was there even such an issue reported to you?

    yep, the ip adress is there….I also suspect SD card problem. I will make a new image.

    BTW – I have 8 Raspis (5 of which for Squeezelite), SD card reliability is the biggest problem. Netboot or something else is badly needed to solve that issue. I considered moving to SONOS due to the issues which I have had…

    yep, tried from several devices. I get connection refused with SSH, does not even allow me to type in my PW. My other clients are working fine.

    I have a similar issue…but I can’t connect through SSH either….“connection refused“…any ideas?

    Network boot would be FANTASTIC!
    I have so many problems with SD cards, and it’s soo time consuming to fix these issues. Netboot would be really great.

    Hi knutmi,

    I also attached an SMSL Q5 Pro over USB, it does not seen to be recognised. Did you need to do anything to install the DAC?

    Der C2 ist auch VIEL schneller UND es hat einen IR Sensor für Fernbedienung.
