I just tested the gmedia renderer installation to make sure there are no problems with our script. However, I did not encounter any issues.
What device are you using? I tested on a Pi3. Also, if you already have a Squeezebox Server running, you can use Squeezelite as a DLNA player. Thanks to a plugin in LMS, alls Squeezelite players are also DLNA players.

/var/lib/minidlnaHowever, you can check its status in our web interface as well. The button debug info shows you the output of the server’s current activity. Furthermore, you should be seeing a media path option where you also force a reindex of the folders, which might help get your server recognized by BubbleUPnP again.

First, you have to click settings in the bottom right corner of the normal LMS interface (The interface you get when clicking the big green button in Max2Play’s Squeezebox Server menu). In the settings, there are several tabs. The second to last, next to „Information“ should be called „Advanced“.

No schedule for new releases, but you can already check out the beta as a premium user. You can either manually install the newest beta of a plugin by changing the part of the plugin url „currentversion“ to „beta“ or just click beta update in the Settings/Reboot to get all plugins‘ newest beta. Newest beta of Spotify Connect already includes the automatic switch, check it out 😉

The gmedia renderer is an optional player which can be installed and does not come preinstalled. You should find a button beneath Squeezelite and Shaiport to install it.
The miniDLNA server runs headless, meaning there’s no graphic interface to interact with. However, it should show up on DLNA apps like bubbleUPnP. In the debug info log, you can see if it is running and started correctly.

Davon ausgehend scheint es sich ja um ein Problem mit der HDD zu handeln. Deshalb könntest du ggf. versuchen ein paar Tracks auf einem anderen Gerät zu verbinden und abzuspielen, um sicherzugehen.
Das auslagern von Datenbanken ist bei Max2Play nicht empfohlen und bei LMS nicht unterstützt. Deine Class 10 sollte absolut ausreichen anhand unser vieler Langzeittests.

Currently, these two player (AirPlay & Spotify Connect) are not working concurrently. so please make sure that shairport is deactivated when trying to use the Spotify player and vice versa. A soft power-off switch solution, like between Squeezelite and shairport, is on the way.

Welchen Player nutzt du zur Wiedergabe? Welches Ausgangsgerät/Soundkarte ist dort gesetzt (erweiterte Einstellungen)?

Thanks for the follow-up.
I checked the Spotify Connect plugin today and have not been able to recreate an issue thus far. So you can still use it if you want.
However, if you already use the Squeezebox system, the Spotty plugin does make more sense for the whole environment.

Du kannst versuchen, Kodi neu zu installieren um eine fehlerhafte Version auszuschließen.
Bei Spannungsproblemen sollte in der Tat ein Quadrat auftreten.

Falls deine Musikordner und -dateien bestimmte Sonderrechte innehaben, könntest du diese noch entfernen um Sie als Fehlerquelle ausschließen zu können.
Welche Leseklasse hat deine SD-Karte? Wir empfehlen für die Nutzung des LMS eine SD mit mindestens Class 10.

Ich würde dir jedoch raten, vorher einmal das System ohne HDD zu betreiben, um sicherzugehen dass diese wirklich der Problemherd ist.

If you are using the Odroid for the LMS, you do not need to mount any media on the Pi. It is stream from the LMS of the Odroid anyways. Nonetheless, you can use the same syntax as with Odroid on the Pi’s mounting.
For the IP issue, please deactivate WPS and Access Point Auto Start Mode if you have not yet.
