    Won’t work.

I’d really appreciate some help in how to install the drivers on m2p_rpi3_default_241_wps_autoexpand.img without gztting stuck an a cmd line.

    @ Marcel

Last year I borrowed that device, and managed to get M2P running.
I should have made a copy of the SD card I used 🙁 .

Starting from m2p_rpi3_default_241_wps_autoexpand.img and using their „Anleitung Touch-Display 3.2″ V2 “ I can’t get any further than a cmd screen on either the Joy-It or HDMI.

    Also bei mir lauft’s scheisse.

Could you please give me instructions on how you configured your’s ?

Even though the screen’s native reolution is only 320×240, it’s capable cloning the HDMI output in full HD.

I’m goin to try the native 2.8 support from M2P a go, and report back.

    Much obliged,

    LeZandre

    I’ve noticed the 3.5″ screen has a 320×480 resolution.
    Is that 2.8″ skin 320×480 ?

    Idem,

    Danke Team Max2Play.

Also, bei mir lauft es wieder. Aber erst ab heute.
    Gleiche configuration wie vorher.

I’ve tried those settings, but no luck.

It must be a Belgian problem.

    I’m using the http://demo.max2play.com:81/ now.

I can’t see the plugins, but the browers‘ statusbar shows their links and I can click them.
I’ve tried IE on Windows 10, Edge on Windows 10, Firefox on Ubuntu 12.04, IE on windows 7.

Can you confirm the page is supposed to load correctly on a RasPi browser, then that’s what I’ll try next.

Raspberry 2 + offical 7″touchscreen, Max2Play for the 7″ Touch Display (Raspberry Pi), windows 10 anniversary update, Internet explorer.

Raspberry 2 + offical 7″touchscreen, Max2Play Raspberry Pi ALL (SD-Card Image based on Raspbian Jessie Lite) , windows 10 anniversary update, Internet explorer.

I can’t see the addons through http://demo.max2play.com:81/ either.

I’ve tried Firefox, same problem: The whole page loads exept the addons:

The Max2Play Plugins rant on top, the poll at the bottom, and a big white void in the middle where the addons used to be.

    Any suggestions ?

I can’t confirm it will play CD’s from an USB CD-Player attached to the RPi, but it does play CD’s from the Computer on which LMS is installed.

    Do you mean

      Sharewave

3.5 LCD Touchscreen or is it

      Waveshare

    3.5 LCD Touchscreen ?

I have 2 Waveshare 5 Inch resistive touchscreen’s (non USB) running following this guide to install the drivers.

    http://www.waveshare.com/wiki/5inch_HDMI_LCD

I suppose that for your 3.5 Inch version you could follow this guide:

I power the LCD with a 5V 2A white Raspberry pi powersupply and feed the Raspberry pi with the supplied breadboard leads through GPIO pins.
I’ve got a USB keyboard and mouse, as well as a WIFI dongle stuck in the Raspberry Pi’s USB boards.
So far no ‚Low Power‘ indicater has shown up.

Feeding the Raspberry Pi through the Display’s USB connector to the PI’s µ USB power in might cause the problem.
How much current does a USB 2 port provide? 500 mA max I thought.

Given the USB 2 port on the display is limited to that specification, that’s not enough to power the Pi and peripherals I’m afraid.

    I’m using the Joggler skin.
Do yo know the command line/procedure for launching JiveLite without window?
At the moment I’ve launched it with “ ./bin/jivelite „.
This way it opens up Windowed on the desktop.

I added JiveLite. Works fine, but is in dire need of fitting skin.

Also, kodi seems to be having some trouble with displaying movies in proper ratio/resolution.
Just as if it’s only using 2/3’s of the screen.

When/If the nice folks of the Max2Play developer team get their hands on fixing those matters, I’b be more than willing to by a premium license.

    Thanks.

    The script ran OK.

But I can’t get squeezeplay to start.

I selected force Headphone jack as output.
