    Hi Heiner,

    thanks for the reply.
    Unfortunatly, i cannot connect directly the box to my amp bacause of lack of input. My amp is internal connected to the Raspberry. This is one box containing amp & rasp with only USB/HDMI/Ethernet ports of the rasp are available.

    I would imagine a software solution with a usb device to get the SPDIF signal.

    Hello

    i found a solution to install Plex Media Server.
    You must open a SSH session and follow this guide:

    I just put these commands:

    sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https -y –force-yes
    wget -O – https://dev2day.de/pms/dev2day-pms.gpg.key | sudo apt-key add –
    echo “deb https://dev2day.de/pms/ jessie main” | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pms.list
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install -t jessie plexmediaserver -y
    sudo reboot

    Then i open web interface to set up Media Server Plex
    your ip:32400/web

    i updated again and reboot again with no success.

    Hello,

    i have an HDMI connection on my TV set which detects source input.

    When i start Kodi, screen turns to black for 1 second and turns back to M2P desktop (cycle repeats 2/3 times).
    I have already reboot the system without success.

    I will update again Kodi tonight.

    So Kodi can run over HDMI without sharing squeezelite player audio process, good news!

    So why, in this config, prevent theses 2 softs to run at same time? That’s no sense and make impossible an remotly usage of a mediacenter.

    Hi Heiner,

    It’s not convenient at all for a mediacenter solution (no mouse, no keyboard, only remote control access)

    In Kodi, if i set HDMI passtrough audio output, it uses pulseaudio as well?

    You say when Kodi is closed -> Squeezelite auto-starts but on the opposite side, if i run Kodi, could Squeezelite auto-stop as opposed to display the error message cannot run?

    i contacted Odroid forum but they said to see with you. It should be a software issue.

    You advised to set up squeezelite to use hardware address of the card?

    Hello,

    To solve incompatibility issue, i consider to introduce a USB->I2S XMOS interface card to connect Odroid XU4 to my I2S DAC.

    I read some reviews and 2 products have retained my attention:

    – Singxer F1 XU208 XMOS, 170$ (galvanic isolation and 2 femtosecond CRYSTEK clocks)
    – Singxer C1 XU208 XMOS FEMTO AS318B ACCUSILICON, 70$ (same as F1 i guess but without isolation)

    What do you think about theses cards relative to SQ improvement? Galvanic isolation of F1 should make difference and justify upper price?

    – Added Beta Max2Play Image for Allo Sparky Board

    What is the image i must install on the sparky to make it work?
