    Hello

i face a very annoyed issue with my Odroid XU4. Because i cannot use I2S from XU4 (voltage issue) to connect my DAC, i bought an XMOS USB interface (Singxer F1) that is connected to my slave DAC.

I connect XMOS to USB 2.0 of the XU4 and install image for Odroid XU4 (last one 2GB).

    Settings in Max2Play (see picture).

I plug my USB key with some music files for testing purpose. LMS 7.9.1 scans well. I can play music.

First time when install and updates are finished, i can hear sound but if i turn off (hard and soft) and switch the card on, when i play music there is no sound anymore (led of the F1 is still on).

I can notice some errors during booting (see picture).

I have tested also with previous image (1GB) but same issue and behavior.

    What’s wrong?

ps: I also tested with a RPI3 and no problem at all!

    Hi fabien,

Unfortunately, we do not have any experience with this sound device. Have you contacted the manufacturer to ask him about possible issues with the XU4, yet?

Also, which post are you referring to?

    Hello Heiner,

i contacted Odroid forum but they said to see with you. It should be a software issue.

The post i am referring to is:
    https://www.max2play.com/en/forums/topic/stuttering-or-no-sound-on-resume-every-monring-or-so-pcm2707-usb-dac/

You advised to set up squeezelite to use hardware address of the card?

Yup, you can find out the mixer device of the card in the alsamixer.

As I have mentioned, this is not something we can help you directly. The topic you refer to is about a Raspberry Pi sound card, which we can help with as we use and work with them regularly. We do not have any experience with your card or sound card support for Odroid in general as the basis for the two systems of Max2Play also widely differ.
