Plugin Allo

Plugin Allo

The Plugin Allo installs the Allo sound cards Piano 2.0 and 2.1 Hi-Fi DAC for the Raspberry Pi. It also configures Max2Play for typical audio applications with just one click.

At a glance

  • Installs and configures Allo sound cards
  • Supports the Kali Reclocker directly
  • Offers various configuration options for the Piano DACs
  • Offers three preset audio configurations (Starter, Advanced, Simple AirPlay)

The Allo Plugin serves as the default homepage after installation. As shown on the screenshots below, you can select your sound card (Piano 2.0, Piano 2.1, BOSS HiFi DAC or DigiOne) from the dropdown list to consequently have various adjustment sliders at your disposal, after saving your selection and rebooting the device. These sliders let you adjust various settings, depending on the card you are using. A change of your used sound card is also possible with just one click at any time. The use of the Kali Reclocker card does not require any separate settings to be adjusted.

The plugin offers, similarly to the other sound card plugins, the following three audio configurations: Starter, Advanced and simple Airplay. Every setting configures your Max2Play device for the intended application field and already sets up all the necessary in the corresponding plugins for it automatically. This allows you to get started right away without having to get into extended setups.

Note: The installer for the Allo BOSS 2 OLED Display only works if the name of the Max2Play device is „max2play“.
