Seriously, nobody is able to make any suggestions as to why this might be happening? I had no problems like this prior to the current build being released.

After 20 minutes of „rebooting“ the Max2Play interface finally through an error, although no error number, and now when I try I get the following message.

    This site can’t be reached

max2play’s server DNS address could not be found.

    Hi,

Still having problems with my build rebooting. Any changes that require a reboot i.e. expanding the filesystem, cause the web interface to just sit there with the spinning wheel of inactivity displayed. If I kill the web session the Max2Play interface is no longer available and I have to rebuild the whole thing again. This is now the third or fourth time i have had to do this in the last week or two.

I have a Pi 3 and am using Jessie build 232. Is anybody else experiencing this inability to reboot or is it just me? An ideas on how to resolve this or even identify what is causing the issue? Help would be most appreciated because I am pulling my hair out here.

Right, got it all working again. We had a poweroutage and it won’t reboot again so another rebuild beckons. Are Raspberry PI’s particularly susceptible to this?

    Hi Jan,

I have managed to get my RPI3 working with the Jessie image. Got Squeezeserver up and running and streaming to my Squeezebox and a network share so that MusicBee also has access to my tunes.

    Details as follows:
    RPI3
16gb Transcend Class 10 SD Card
    RPI Case and power pack

I formatted the SD Card using SDFormatter https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
I then used a PNY SD Card reader to burn (restored) the Jessie image to the SD Card using USBit http://www.alexpage.de/usb-image-tool/

Plugged in network cable and powerpack and let the image do its work. Took about 15 – 20 mins before http://max2play became available.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Heiner,

Ignore that last post. Just had one more flash of amber and tried connecting and got in ok. I thought the led nearest the sd card slot was supposed to show green not red with occasional amber flashes?

    Hi Heiner,

Ok I have downloadeded the Jessie image of Max2Play and have burned it to my SD card using USBIT. I had formatted the SD card using SDFormatter so it was a clean install onto an empty card. I have put the card into the RPI3 and connected up LAN and power cables. The main red power led is showing and the led to the left of it initially alternated between red and amber. However, it is now staying red and i can’t get onto my Pi using http://max2play Have i done something wrong?

    Hi Heiner,

thanks for the prompt response. Will this allow me to stream to a Squeezebox Boom?

    Hi,

I am unable to get my RPI3 to boot with the Max2Play Squeezplug image. I guess this is for the same reason mentioned above. Is there anyway for me to get this working at the moment or will i just have to wait for your latest image release? If the latter, when is that likely to be?

Sorry I am new to PI and just bought the latest one available. Didn’t realise that the models were o\s specific
