Just wanted to join in this thread as I am having the same issue. I scan the Pi and can ascertain that it is not listening on port 9000. I cannot figure out how to remove the squeezebox server so I can attempt to reinstall and like the other message above I did attempt to update to the latest nightly build but without success.
