I am running Max2Play on a Raspberry Pi 3 and am trying to connect a Bose SoundLink Mini with bluetooth. I can discover the speaker, and when I click connect I get …pared 1 connected 1, but the blinking light on the speaker keeps flashing. Squeezelite refuses to start with

I’ve installed the latest beta and set command-line option to -B

Any ideas of what I can try?

BTW I don’t think you need to use a larger card. Just format your existing card and re-install.

I have the same problem. Using standard Linux instructions doesn’t help. I believe that this is an old problem that Max2Play just don’t want to fix.
I just did a clean install on an 8Gig SD card, and the image takes 33%. The extra files that were on it must have been update files, but there is no apparent method of cleaning up the image.

I couldn’t get this to work (using nano). The file was created in /tmp – I think this is the problem

I tried this out and, although it worked as advertised, my firewall blocked all internet traffic from my Max2Play machine. I’m going back to Putty.
