    I found the cause …
    Stopping the squeezelite player sets to alsamixer ‚digital playback volume‘ to 0.
    The ‚bluetooth-player‘ does not change it.
    So the Max2Play is actually playing the music it receives over bluetooth, but at 0 volume…


    sudo amixer -c 1 cset numid=1 104,104

    would make the music audible …

    Hi,
    I seem to have a very similar problem.
    The hardware is a Raspberry3 with Hifiberry AMP2.
    Playing as a squeezeserver client works perfectly to the AMP2 audio card.
    Trying to use the Max2Play as a bluetooth player does not work to the AMP2.
    It does work however when playing it to the bcm2835 Headphones !
    So I puzzled where the problem is … the audio works in „multi-room-player-mode“
    and bluetooth works to the Headphones…

    Any hints on how to debug ?
