Hello,
For my new project on the ammocanbox I want to use a rotery encoder.
I followd these steps:
And used this rotery encoder:

I’am sertain that the encoder is working. I tried it with this post:The only problem I have with the post above is that the volume is only going up by 2% and directly going down with 2%.
But I can see there is a input by the encoder.If I use it in the set-up like the jusboom post nothing is happening. The rotery encoder software is running and I used the given gipo pins.
I also put in the advanced settings of the player the next line: -o hw:CARD=sndrpijustboomd -V Digital -Q
The alsa mixer is working. If change the volume in ipeng i see the change on the alsa mixer.Can someone confirm the rotery encoder is working on the Justboom zero amp?

Unfortunately, do not have the extended pin strip of the tutorial on hand to recreate this setup.
However, you can currently try using the official pinout pins for rotary control, as listed here, instead:
