hope someone can help!
ive set up the encoder as per instructions https://www.max2play.com/en/2016/12/rotary-encoder-ist-now-compatible-with-justboom-sound-cards/ and solderd the encoder to gpio pins 16 and 18 on the amp but the encoder doesnt work, in the Rotary Encoder Start Options it has this in the box „-c hw:0 -m Digital –gpiorot=23,24 –vol=60“ the player works but the encoder doesnt, so Ive changed the entry to „-c hw:0 -m Digital –gpiorot=16,18 –vol=60“ as those are the pins used on the amp zero but I get no sound at all. its driving me mad, can anyone help?thanks
Pete

You need to use the BCM notation so it is GPIO 23,24 which are pins 16,18
https://pinout.xyz/pinout/amp_zeroI’ll try to replicate your installation as soon as I can, maybe someone from M2P can shed some light in the meantime?
17. April 2017 at 11:47 #28284So we have setup a JustBoom DAC with a rotary encoder on GPIO 23,24.
Followed the steps in our guide till the end of section 2 to configure the OS.
and the extra steps from M2P
https://www.max2play.com/en/2016/12/rotary-encoder-ist-now-compatible-with-justboom-sound-cards/and all works fine for us.
If you have a keyboard/mouse and a monitor or can access via SSH, you could run the alsamixer to verify that indeed the volume slider works with the rotary encoder.
I hope this helps.
