    I saw a post related to this where the device never showed up , but I’m having a different problem.

    If my RPi is idle for a few hours, its visibility to the spotify app on my android phone disappears. I then have to a web browser to visit the squeezebox web UI and then wait (and sometimes do a little dance), before the RPi shows up again. Is there a way to somehow have this done periodically in the background, e.g. set up a cron job to restart spotty or squeezebox? Or is there a setting I can change directly?

    Hi audiomike,

    You can add an automatic rescan for new files in the advanced settings of LMS („Rescan Music Library“).

    You can also use our Speech Control Plugin to find out how to use the CLI command for restarting LMS on another device or service.
