After many years I’ve moved away from the large server architecture for Logitech Media Server and now only use Raspberry Pi for my music server. I found (no doubt later than most) that this opens up the possibility of listening to my music „on the move“ using my Android Phone as a player connected through a Dynamic DNS service and radically reducing the energy requirement of my LMS server.
I’ve implemented this on my Pi using the instructions here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DynamicDNS but would love to see this available as a plugin. Debian Programme ddclient.
