Hi All,
I have a number if RPI-3 based Max2Play players and my issue is that power in my area is quite unreliable. After a power cut my wifi based players can’t connect to the wifi network as the router is still booting. Is there a way to extend the amount of time the players search for the wifi network before they give up?
I’m not very familiar with Linux so please could you make your answers „idiot-proof“ :o)
Many thanks in advance.
Hi thedude,
I will ask our developer if there is a file in which you can set this. I’ll get back to you when I have an answer from him.
Hi thedude,
There seems to be a file that you can edit to change the time the system looks for a wifi network: /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf
The timeout value seems to be decisive here.
