Which Squeezebox Server version is recommended?

My Max2Play offers now the Nightly Versions 8.3 & 8.4 only. I am still using the previously available version 8.2.0. Should I upgrade? And why? My Squeezebox Server software needs a frequent restart as it stops working. Would this be addressed?
