Max2Play Home › Forums › Max2Play on Raspberry PI › What MPD client ( ios ) are you using?
Hello.
Being fairly new to the Raspberry-Hifi world I am now looking for a decent mpd-client for both iphone & ipad.
I used volumio on my pi with the same app on my iphone but due to the lack of some features I switched to max2play.
But the only client I found is MPDluxe…
Thanks a lot.
Thomas
Hi Thomas,
Most of our users have the Squeezebox system running which has a lot of great dedicated apps, including iPeng for iOS. But it also comes with DLNA and AirPlay plugin preinstalled, so you can also use these protocols to play music from your phone.
Check out the graphics on this page to see how the Squeezebox system works on Max2Play.
