Hi All
I’ve just started using Unified Remote with another server running Ubuntu. Doing basic things like power control. It will also start/stop/control lots of different apps like Firefox and media players. It’s very convenient using simple big buttons on an Android app to do this. It got me wondering, it’d be nice to use it for Max2play on my Pi too.
Poweron and off should work straight away. And you can create your own remote commands. It’d be good to be able to start/stop Kodi and maybe more. Before I have a look I thought I’d ask if anyone has done it before ?
Thanks.
btw if you’re quick Android Unified Remote is only 10pence/cents at the Play store at the moment outside the US.
Hi inspiral,
I am not familiar with the app, however, if it allows HTTP commands, you could easily incorporate different commands form Max2Play. Check out the Voice Control plugin beta for a selection of commands for Kodi, Squeezebox Server, etc.
