Max2Play Home › Forums › General Questions on Hardware and Max2Play Versions › [SOLVED] Using M2P with music files stored on Mac Mini
Hi
I have a Raspberry Pi 3 and Hifiberry digi+ and I’m trying to use M2P on the Pi to play music in one room when my music is stored on a computer in another room. The Pi and the Mac Mini are on the same wifi network. Not sure I do this using M2P. Is it possible?

Hello dan,
I assume you want to use Squeezebox servre – right?
This is possible of course:
– you first Need to enable sharing on your mac and share the Folder with your Music to a specific user (if you want to have more security)
– then you have tp enter the correect values to you newly created share in M2P under „Filesystem – Mount“
– then you have to configure the newly mounted share in Squeezebox server
If you need more Information just ask.
Markus
