    I MUST be doing something wrong OR don’t understand HOW to make the Raspberry see my Wifi USB.

    I purchased my wifi usb stick from the same store that I got my Raspberry Pi from.

    I have plugged it into my Raspberry Pi which has been working fine for several months.

    It continues to show – Status: WiFi USB adapter status is not active. WiFi connection status is not active

    I’ve done reboots several times tried different USB slots, put it in my PC and it was recognized immediate SO how do I get it to be recognized?

    Idiot Alert! it was my fault

    I had Another Max2play config’d device on the network, and the interface was access THIS device rather than my new device I was configing.

    So..that really sent me for a loop
