Max2Play Home › Forums › General Questions on Hardware and Max2Play Versions › Unable to boot latest image on B model
Hello all,
I am unable to boot the latest max2play image (m2p_stretch_rpi_v249) on my B model. Is there any incompatibility between the latest image and my RPi?
Thank you
Hi Gwydion,
Are you using a Raspberry Pi 3B or an older version? With the Raspberry Pi 3 there should be no problems with the stretch image. Please make sure nothing went wrong during the burn process.
Hi Mario. I am using an old Raspberry B, I believe it’s a Raspberry Pi 1 Model B revision 1.2.
I can confirm the burning process was OK.
Hi Gwydion,
Normally the image should work for all Pis except for the Pi 4. Nonetheless, stretch is primarily being developed for the Pi 3. Therefore it can cause problems with older Pis. Please try to burn a legacy version of Max2Play onto the SD card and see if this is working with your Pi.
Please also connect a monitor to the Pi before booting to see if an error message appears when it boots up.
