    sometimes after booting up fresh,
    jivelite is showing incomplete page due to the fact the „wrong“ player is selected.
    when i go to switch player page, there are 2 max2play’s.
    i select the second one which happens to be the „right“ player and
    everything shows up as expected.

    so my question is:
    why is there 2 players with same name?
    and how can it be fixed?

    UPDATE:
    i may have inadvertently found a fix!
    for some kind of clue, i was looking through the boot log via „journalctl -b“ command
    and noticed that there were many error entries for lirc (every second).
    so since i do not have a remote control,
    i completely uninstalled the lirc.

    ever since, through several boots,
    there is only one max2play player as expected.
    and of course, no more error logs every second.
    for now, all’s well on the max2play land…

    Hallo,
    fast gleiches Problem.
    Habe mal zu Versuchszwecken Bluetooth aktiviert und einen BT-Lautsprecher in mein Max2Play Multiroom System hinzugefügt.
    Diesen Player nannte ich Max2PlayB.
    Mittlerweile brauche ich diesen nicht mehr und habe Bluetooth deaktiviert und auch wieder deinstalliert.
    Leider bekomme ich aber den Player „Max2PlayB“ nicht mehr weg und wird ständig im Squeezebox Server als Player angezeigt.
    Kann ich diesen irgendwie endgültig entfernen?

    Hast du den Bluetooth Player mit Squeezelite oder MultiSqueeze betrieben?

    Bisher konnte ich dies hier leider noch nicht nachstellen. Ich werde dich aber hier informieren, wenn ich dies getan habe und einen Lösungsansatz habe.
