    Hi,

    i tried to install tvheadend on my m2p image.
    Short:I failed…
    My Plan was to use Kodi as a PVR.
    I know there is an OpenELEC integration but I dont like to go this route.
    Any thoughts?

    Hi Dolon,
    We actually have implemented a feature for this. In the web interface of Max2Play, you can find the option to „Get Addon Repository from HTTP-URL“ where we have our PVR-Addons-Repositories. Just choose the one for Raspberry Pi, click the Get-Button and you will find, amongst others, the tvheadend addon in the Max2Play Repository in Kodi’s interface under the System Settings in the Addon Manager.

    I am fighting with exactly the same topic, and found a Tarball, but get always the information that some files are missing.

    Get Plugin from https://github.com/tvheadend/tvheadend/archive/v4.1.tar.gz
    Load Plugin from tar.gz
    Installing Plugin tvheadend-4.1
    Controller OR View Files are missing in the Plugin – Install canceled

    Do you have any idea how to deal with that issue?

    Hi Flo,
    Please select the PVR Addons Repository compiled by Max2Play to prevent any issues. You will find, amongst others, the tvheadend addon in the Max2Play Repository in Kodi’s interface under the System Settings in the Addon Manager.
