I have a RaspberryPi3 / maxplay with Terratec Aureon USB Soundcard (Digital/Optical Out) connected to a Samsung HW-K360 Soundbar with Subwoofer. Works very fine so far. Now I’d like the Soundbar to power off (standby) when I don’t play anything on Squeezelite. The soundbar does this by default when the connected player is powered off, so when I shutdown RPi, the soundbar runs in standby as well.
Is there any way to power off RaspberryPi3 or put it to standby or to turn off the USB soundcard when squeezelite is paused so that the speaker gets the info, that the player is off?
Thanks in advance.

Hi wenkman,
What you can do is utilize the HTTP-Requests. You can find some examples in our voice control plugin beta. To pause a player, you need: Pause for this device:
