    Hi,
I’d like to have a touchscreen to control my Max2Play Pi’s, but due to my house setup I dont need it to plug into any speakers itself.
    Is this possible?

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

You can control the Raspberry Pi with a display without any problems. It makes no difference whether speakers are connected or not. The official 7″ Raspberry touch display is best suited, but theoretically other touch screens should work as well. It is best to ask the manufacturer if the screen is compatible with the Pi. For the touchscreen control of Max2Play (or the Squeezebox server) Jivelite suits best, which is preinstalled as a plugin with Max2Play.
