starting of multiqueeze with specific output device failed

I’ve created a new ALSA output device (equal plugin).
Using that device in a multisqueeze instance leads to an error: „Versucht zu starten … NICHT Erfolgreich“
Using the same device in a squeezelite instance at the console „/opt/squeezelite/squeezelite -n Room2 -o <devicename>“ works like a charm.

environment:
Odroid XU4 with M2P Image
Sweex 7.1 USB sound device
asound.conf with dmixer channel mapping and equal plug -> 4 mono channels

Can you guys give me a direction?

Dear photon2015,

To test it I recommend you to test it first on Squeezelite. There you can see in the DEBUG informations where a issue is occured.
Additionally check that you are logged in as root for the whole time – you have to be logged in as the same user for the whole time.

And try to add this into the command line options of squeezelite, maybe this will help you

-o <output device> Specify output device, default “default”, – = output to stdout
