    Hello
    I am using a 4-2GB RPi with an Allo Boss V1.2
    The RPi is connected to a standard power supply and the Allo Boss V1.2 is connected to an Allo Shanti.
    I mainly play local files from a hard drive. These are Flac, Aiff, Wav in 16, 24 and 32 bit.
    Both LMS and Squeezlite are installed on this RPi and the Allo Boss V1.2 is connected to a very good but older pre-amplifier / amplifier combination.
    Now my question:
    What are the optimal settings for Squeezlite?
    Sound card: dmix, hw or plughw?
    ALSA parameters?
    Command line options?
    further required settings?

    Hi Mario,

    One of the advantages of Max2Play is that it does the setup of the sound card for you. If you select the Allo BOSS DAC in the Allo plugin or in the Raspberry settings, the recommended settings for operating the sound card are already made.

    i set the audio adapter to none, reboot, set the audio card to Allo Boss again and now the command line parameters are filled.
