I use M2P with an Allo Digione player.
When I access the M2P user interface via web browser on my laptop or phone, I can click on the ‚Settings/Reboot‘ tab to access ‚Reboot/Update/Filesystem Settings‘.
There is a button called ‚Shutdown‘. If I click this, M2P itself shuts down but the Pi/Digione is still on (lights on).
Is it safe to turn off the Pi by unplugging it from the power socket just after clicking ‚Shutdown‘ on M2P? I’ve read about possible SD card corruption issues when unplugging the Pi generally.
Hi jerpyjj,
This behavior for the Pi and the sound card is quite normal. You can disconnect the Pi from the power supply without hesitation after the shutdown, after the green lamp has been lit for a little longer and then remains off and only the red lamp lights up.
