Tagged: settings reboot playername
Running max2play v253 on Raspberry Pi 4. I attempted to change these settings under Settings/Reboot tab:
Playername from default „max2play“ to „diningroom“
Renewed and activated my license. (I clicked the little refresh button and the red „Not Activated (2023-01-16)“ changed to green „Activated (2029-01-16)“)
Enabled „Network Lookup“ feature
Clicked „Save Settings“ and it looks good. I then moved the „Bluetooth“ plugin from Available to Active and saved plugin config. It all still looks good. I then clicked on „Reboot“ to reboot and make the hostname change effective, and when the browser came back, all the settings were back to where they were before I changed them.
I ssh’ed to the max2play machine and manually updated the hostname, but still when I rebooted the hostname was set back to „max2play“.
Am I doing something wrong?
