    Hallo lieber Support,

    habe heute eure Lizenz für 5 Jahre erworben.
    Neues Image auf neuer SD-Card gebrannt und im Raspberry 3B+ gestartet.
    Allo Piano 2.1 ausgewählt und neu gebootet.
    Ausgabe mit HDMI ohne ausgewähltem Allo DAC mit Kodi ohne Probleme.

    Mit Allo Piano nur sehr sehr lautes Rauschen!

    Danach getestet: Neue Raspberry Firmware installiert, ohne Probleme durchgelaufen.
    SqueezeBox und Shareport sind nicht aktiv.

    In 2017 gab es mal ein OSMC Upgrade, was den gleichen Fehler provoziert hat:
    24BIT / Weisses Rauschen.

    vielen Dank für ihre Unterstützung.

    Ich nutze den Raspberry 3B plus und als M2P Image verwende ich die Version

    m2p_stretch_rpi_v249.img mit 3,58 GB.

    Vor der m2p Image Installation habe ich den folgende Firmware Update für den Allo Piano 2.1 DAC ohne Probleme mit diesen Befehlen durchgeführt:

    wget https://github.com/allocom/piano-firmware/archive/master.zip
    sudo unzip -q master.zip
    sudo rm ./master.zip
    sudo cp -r ./piano-firmware-master/lib/firmware/allo /lib/firmware
    sudo rm -rf ./piano-firmware-master

    Danke für die weiteren Infos. Haben Sie das Firmware Update zuvor mit einem normalen Raspbian Image vorgenommen?

    Die DSP Funktionalität wird leider nicht von Max2Play direkt unterstützt.

    Hallo Herr Tacke,

    ich konnte das Problem im Kodi im aktuellen Max2Play-Stretch-Image reproduzieren, aber leider nicht lösen.

    Wenn Sie den PianoDac ohne den Kali nutzen, dann sollte Kodi keine Probleme machen. Die anderen Player (Squeezelite/Shairport etc.) funktionieren auch mit dem Kali problemlos. Daher liegt der Fehler wohl sehr wahrscheinlich im Kodi selbst. Das Rauschen trat bei unserem Testsetup generell auf – unabhängig davon, ob etwas abgespielt wurde (also eher kein exklusives 24Bit Problem). Ggf. könnten Sie probieren mal eine frühere Kodi Version zu testen – oder eben auf den Kali zu verzichten oder einen anderen Player zur Ausgabe zu nutzen.

    Ich hoffe das hilft Ihnen dennoch etwas weiter.

    Ich habe noch etwas nachgeforscht und bin auf diesen Link gestoßen, wo ein Work-Around beschrieben ist:

    Auszug aus dem Text:

    Auch in diesem Link gibt es wohl den gleichen Work-Around:

    Ich habe leider nichts mehr auf meine Info vom 17.10. gehört und habe mir jetzt den HifiBerry DAC+ Pro bei max2play bestellt.

    Wer Interesse an ALLO Piano 2.1 und KALI hat und damit weiter experimentieren möchte, bitte eine PM schicken.

    Werde mich gern gegen einen kleinen Obulus davon trennen wollen …

    Ich hoffen, das es dann mit Hifiberry wieder funktionieren wird.

    PS: Schade, Support stelle ich mir bei „Premium“ etwas anders vor. Aber der gute Wille war ja zu erkennen.
