I’m very new with this, but I have a problem.
Sound is very very low on the output of DAC+. Plugged into a home theater receiver and at max volume I can barely understand the sound.
I downloaded the image from the website for Hifiberry, and choose DAC+ on configuration, I don’t know what to check to validate my config.
Some thing a found strange is in amixer, Plaback channel is “Mono”
    Thanks !

    Hello nightwulf,

First please check, that you have choosen the right sound card under the menu “HiFiBerry“.

Then please disable the build-in-audio of the raspberry pi – you found it under “Raspberry Settings“. And activate “Use USB DAC” – this you will find under Audioplayer settings.

    Hi Christoph,

    Thanks for your help.

    Under Hifiberry I choose : Hifi Berry Dac+ (B+ / Pi2)
I disabled the build in audio and activated the USB DAC but it did not fix the problem.

Ok please tell me your setup. Which player you want to use (MPD; Squeezebox Server…)?
