Hi!
I’m very new with this, but I have a problem.
Sound is very very low on the output of DAC+. Plugged into a home theater receiver and at max volume I can barely understand the sound.
I downloaded the image from the website for Hifiberry, and choose DAC+ on configuration, I don’t know what to check to validate my config.
Some thing a found strange is in amixer, Plaback channel is „Mono“
Thanks !
Hello nightwulf,
First please check, that you have choosen the right sound card under the menu „HiFiBerry„.
Then please disable the build-in-audio of the raspberry pi – you found it under „Raspberry Settings„. And activate „Use USB DAC“ – this you will find under Audioplayer settings.
Hi Christoph,
Thanks for your help.
Under Hifiberry I choose : Hifi Berry Dac+ (B+ / Pi2)
I disabled the build in audio and activated the USB DAC but it did not fix the problem.
Thanks
Ok please tell me your setup. Which player you want to use (MPD; Squeezebox Server…)?
