One of the most infuriating aspects of M2P is the restriction on root shell access.

I use WinSCP to tweak/fix some features of LMS. This is a painful task in M2P with sudo.

Please give an option to allow root access.

    Hi castalla

Normally everything you need is available on the web-interface, but you can use the super user on Bash, which is „su“ and the password is „max2play“, then you can have the access to the root.

Just to to the „Password Protection“ tab on the web interface. Can type in your root password there and then just do a su root and type that password.
