Hi, I followed your tutorial (http://www.instructables.com/id/High-End-Sound-with-7-Inch-Touchscreen-Control-Bas/?ALLSTEPS) and almost completed my setup. At first I connected Pin 1 and 3 (Nr. 2 and Nr. 6 of the Raspberry) of the additional Pin-Connector Line, because I thought, 1 is for 5V and 3 for Ground. Then I realized, that you took the 4th (Nr. 8 on Raspberry) PIN which is a GPIO PIN in the raspberry layout?
I hope I didn’t destroy anything by connecting to pin 3?
Before I connect it to power I wanted to be sure that pin 4 is really the one, can you give me some advice?
Thank you very much for your help so far with this project!
Hi fblu,
As in the comments on Instructables.com, here a photo so you make sure you have the correct pins:
