Tagged: 7 inch display image, difference, HiFiBerry Image
Hi,
I would like to build a Squeezebox-Touch copy with my Raspberry Pi 2.
Which image should I take when I would like to use the 7″ Touch Screen and my HiFi Berry Digi+ ?
– the „Max2Play HiFiBerry Special Raspberry Pi“ Image or
– the Max2Play Image optimized for 7″ Touch Display for Raspberry Pi“
?
Thank you for a hint 🙂
Hi henry_ch,
thank you for your post.
I recommend to use the 7″ Display if you would like to use the 7 inch touch screen from first start without configuring Max2Play. Wit ha correctly built up setup, Jivelite appears on your 7 inch touch screen.
The HiFiBerry Image is useful if you would like to configure your setup easily as an audioplayer. The beginner setup, for example, acitvates the MPD Player and the compatible visualization YMPD.
But please note: Every functionality can be added to every image by simply install the plug-ins and configuring Max2Play on your own.
We also plan to publish the HiFiBerry and IQaudio menus as separate plug-ins soon. Therefore, you could combine the benefits of both images.
If you have further questions, just ask.
