One of our printers died so I have replaced it with a more modern HP Officejet Pro 8728. This model is not listed in CUPS in the printserver.
There is a package for Debian available from HP at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/hplip/hplip-3.12.6.tar.gz.
How do I either extract the PPD file from this which CUPS is asking for, or install the package from which hopefully CUPS can get what it needs?

Hi TJH,

You can use SambaShare to add the file to your Pi. Perhaps this can help you along as well.
