Hi
I have a multiroom system setup with 6 raspberry pi’s, using max2play and squeeze light. Two of them are in adjoining rooms. Rather than have to switch them on individually I’d like to have them permanently synched so they switch on together and play the same music. Can this be done by adding some lines in a config file?
Many thanks
Hi dave,
This is pretty much the feature of synchronize in the Squeezebox Server, in a nutshell. You connect two or more players and once you start playback on any of them, the rest should automatically start as well. Just select the synchronize-feature, select your two adjoining rooms and they should start showing up as a group in your app.
