    install seems Ok via browser on PC, but does not make any sound.

    I previously tried a Volumio image which made sound, but had a lot of sound glitches / interruptions, so I switched to Max2Play.

    It is installed, has cataloged and can see all the .flac files on my NAS via ethernet, but does not make any sound.

    I have spent a day going through every setting and nothing works.

    Is there a step by step troubleshooting guide?

    Ok – I hammered on settings a bit more and now it makes sound, but plays for a few seconds and stops. Changing subwoofer mode to „none“ seems to be what fixed it but it is hard to know for sure, as I have changed so many settings and rebooted so many times.

    The logitech player interface seems incredibly unresponsive too, played from a browser on a PC on the same ethernet.

    Is there anything newer better which is supported by Max2Play?

    Hi Colin,

    The Vana Player install of Max2Play and its support is handled by Allo. I am sure they will be able to help you along the quickest for this build.

    Our main operating system is for the Raspberry Pi.
